- Following a VERY Stressful house move I open the boxes to see what survived the removal van and what got damaged.
I set up the new temporary LEGO room and show you where the new LEGO studio will be going.
The new Studio is going to be much bigger than the old one so GOTHAM will be doubling in size, so see the new plans for GOTHAM CITY.

It's been a month for moving mocs! Glad you and the LEGO made it! I also didn't realize how much Lego you have lol.
Thanks @Coconutbricksstudio 🙏. Must be the season for moving house 😂. It was a stressful move but so pleased the MOCs survived. I think Mrs Dubbzi Bricks would have been happier if there had been a little less LEGO to move 🤣
I'm pleased to see you back Dubbzi!! I know your new lego studio needs a good amount of love and work, but, if you build it like your mocs it will be strong enough to survived to an earthquake😂 I 'm happy to see the new space you gonna have. And for Gotham, I'm surprised you haven't talk about the Wayne's Manor, I'm sure with your skills, you can do a masterpiece, probably on a separate table, again it's just an idea but that could be awesome!😄 Anyway, I can't wait for the next episode of any progress on Gotham or your studio as well, I don't worry about the strongness of your build, they are rock solid!! See you late!!😊
Thank you @caloutaro 🙏. Wayne Manor and a Batcave was top of the list of things to add to the city, however I just couldn't work out where I could put it where it wouldn't look out of place scale wise. When I made my fist Batcave that was supposed to be in the city, but it came really clear that it would look out of place. Putting it on a seperate table may be the best way around that problem and link the two using a bridge. I would LOVE to rebuild a smaller compact Batcave as I think it such a cool location.
@@dubbzibricks Thank you for this respons!! Thanks!!😊
I really like the way you put Wayne tower right next to the cathedral. Also, placing the theatre and crime alley in that spot gives a bats eye view from the top of the tower. You should be a city planner! I know it will take some time, but I can't wait to see the final studio in the garage. Remember it's not just the floor space. The height of the ceiling will give you so much more room to record. I can't wait to see more.
Thank you @christianbrass6959 🙏. Planning the LEGO city is job enough for me.... 😂🤣😂. I am considering making the tables lower than before as well. Will make reaching into the centre that little easier as well. That would also give me extra space above the city. Decisions decisions....🤔
Very excited and jealous with the new lego space you have. Look forward to that Lego studio upgrade. Definitely make videos about it! 👍
Thanks @Axidroid, I will indeed mate some videos on creating the new LEGO room. I can't wait to get started.... hopefully in the next week or two.
Congratulations on the move! Happy to hear that things survived in better condition than you expected!
Thank you @lestopandlego , It was a relief when opening the boxes
There's nothing better than having completed a move. I like your garage/ future Lego room and the lounge will be nice until it's ready. I'm glad to see that the move damage was minimal and can be repaired. I call this move a win😊.
It sure was a win @Slavador2393 , I can't wait to get started on the LEGO room. Just looking at building materials and ideas for how I proceed.
New space looks great. Joining me with a Garage Lego room. I bet your glad the move is over, those cracks are giving me flashbacks.
I sure am @BrickstagePass , when we were house hunting the Lego room was VERY high on the priority list for requirements of the property. As soon as I walked in the garage I had visions of what I could look like...
So excited to get started
Congratulations on the successful move! I can't wait to see what it will look like in the end. Looking forward to the next episode! 👍
Thank you Klaus, was a stressful day. Just need to get it all unboxed and set up!
Congratulations on the move Dubbzi! You've got a lot of work ahead but it will totally be worth it 🤘💥💯
Thanks @slipstream7363 , there certainly is a lot to be done. Can't wait to get started on it all.
Welcome back! Glad to see the move was a success. I won’t lie, I wasn’t expecting it to be so well preserved. In all seriousness though, glad to see it’s mostly all still together, as it will make rebuilding of Gotham city easier. Excited to see what’s come and I can’t wait to see what happens now. Keep up the great
Thanks @Lego-Man123, Cant wait to get started on the new Gotham City layout. So much potential. Just need to make sure I go down the right direction with it.
@@dubbzibricks Agreed, so much potential. Good luck
Great space, congratulations to you
Thanks @tigrone 🙏. Just need to convert the space now. Looking forward to doing so, but dreading knowing where to start 😬
Happy to see the move went well with minimal damage. It’s going to be fun to watch the garage being turned into your new Lego studio.
Thanks @jasonh8470 , I can't wait to get started on the garage. Just need to find out if I am getting a builder in to do the work or doing it myself. Now that will be an interesting challenge 🤔😂
@@dubbzibricks I am in the process of renovating my basement to be used as my Lego studio and an office for my wife. It’s been a journey but I’m so happy I did the work myself.
@@jasonh8470 cool , any tips or advice? I do find DIY to be satisfying so would be good if I could do the job myself
@@dubbzibricks RUclips my friend. My dad taught me a lot. Everything else I learned watching RUclips videos. Be prepared for trial and error but that’s the fun of it.
Great space. You could create the Narrows like in the movie Batman Begins.
The Narrows would be pretty cool. I am going to have to rewatch Batman Begins for some ideas and see how I can try and fit it into the MOC. Thanks for the suggestion @tiagotrindade662 🙏
I love the new layout. It would look great if the floor is raised gradually in the back. You can also add a courthouse. ✌️
Thank you @juliusm6250 🙏. I have already started the court house so that will definitely be in the city. I do want to have several different levels to Gotham to give it more depth and character.
@@dubbzibricks Im very exited about it 🔥👍
Regarding the new city layout, you could do a U shape or an O shape so you can reach anything from the middle and you can build any of the Gotham bridges over also a U shape would give you the opportunity to build inside an underground area later if you wish.
I have been considering adding an additional table up against a wall with a table then joining the two together. I think it would look good. I also want to make sure that I am planning a long way into the future. Due to all the buildings being custom it does take a lot longer to build the city, but want to make sure that I don't run out of ideas and space anytime soon. A subway would be really cool to add, as well as several other underground locations.
Are you planning to add Wayne Manor directly in the city ?
I have been considering remaking the Batcave and Wayne Manor but on a smaller scale to the previous one I built. If I do I will add a couple of additional tables to the room and link the two builds up with a bridge. I will put an updated city plan in next week's video.
🤗💪👍
Thank you @ftbeat-ry2in 🙏
