So glad you helping mommas, too. I realized I need to try and not overload myself with things cuz the to do list is never completely done. Also decluttering helped me. When the home starts to get stuffed again, my anxiety comes up.
I can totally relate to this! Clutter in the house breeds clutter in my mind. Yes! the list is never-ending but we can totally find some peace and stillness amongst the to-do’s. 😊 Thanks for sharing! 💜💜
Thank you for sharing! I love self care. Practicing self care has been huge for me since I became a mom 2 years ago. Dancing to my favorite music, journaling, praying, intentionally breathing deeply all really help me.
Just researching YT thumbnails, and your smiling images are so radiant, they reach out and make me want to listen to whatever you have to say. You ARE your own best advertisement. Brilliant work!
Yesterday I was feeling so rundown, my 8 month old is going through a very busy and clingy stange- oh and cutting his first tooth. After a rough day at home I realized I needed to be proactive and organize outings to keep us both sane. It's winter in Canada, so simply walking to the park isn't an option anymore. I picked up my phone and reached out to other mom friends until I had one social outting planned everyday. This will allow us to get out of the house and both enjoy some social time with other moms and babies.
Danielle Comeau this is SO brilliant! Being proactive can be so hard sometimes but always worth the extra effort. You’ve inspired me to do this with my little too. Keeping them busy is not always easy! Especially the more mobile they get. Thank you so much for this! 🙏🏾💜💜💜
I totally agree with you for the outings. I live in northern Quebec and winter is long. Going out with my 2 yro twins saves our sanity. For me since the boys, going for a drive has been the most effective de-stresser. I put some good music or podcast and just turn my brain off. It’s the only place that I have no choice but to be quiet in my mind since I can’t write lists and I can’t see the mess.
What kind of tea do you drink in the mornings? I'm trying to switch from coffee to tea, but I don't think Chamomile or the passionflower calming tea that I drink before bed would work for me in the mornings before work.
I recommend crying it out first,... then what helps me is realizing life is so short and we’re all going to be dead one day. I realize it’s not the end of the world if I don’t do that one thing I was supposed to do. My mom gives me these stress relief stops called “ME VALE MADRE”. They help a lot. Also if you are an aunt or uncle, help your brother or sister out to watch the baby. (: I’m not a mom but I see how hard it is, and I don’t even see it all.

When do you find time for this ? My 3 year old doesn’t like most music just screams and yells until I shut it off and the screaming is bad . She then gets angry throws things .
