    This song is truly unique, because there is no set rhythm and every single instrument is basically doing its own performance and has its own "personality".

      No set Rythm? Everything has Rythm. There is no music without Laya. They are all in absolute sync

      @@Singingcuckoo007 there is no rhythm. Ardhanareeshwaram was designed by Muthuswami Dikshitar to have several pace changes throughout the song, thus breaking the rhythm several times. And look at the drummers, they aren't using the percussion to keep a timing, they're playing it as an independent instrument.

      Subhapantuvarali has shuddha gandharam. It’s a parent ragam. 45th melakarta. Kumudakriya has antaragandharam abd is a janya of pantuvarali 51st nelakarta.
