I like the Bass of the Martin Guitar, it is mellow and deep. The Furch is crisp and clear overall, the bass is really nice as well. I also prefer the Furch

No because I am a patriot of the Furch Company, but because these guitars are the best. Martin are very good guitars, but... Furch is Furch...
Impossible de te répondre il faudrait que j'ai l'occasion de jouer avec, pour la Martin j'en est une et j'ai eu l'occasion de jouer sur un modèle 00028 Eric Clapton et sur une D40 les trois sont différentes et pour la Furch elle a une bonne réputation mais voila je ne la connais pas à part quelques articles qui en disent du bien dans des magazines, de toute façon sur l'ordi le son est pas celui de la gratte! Donc désolé j'ai un faible pour les Martin cela est juste que j'aime cette marque
Bonjour Joël, merci pour ce nouveau test. Mon avis , très personnel bien sur, c'est que je préfère toujours la "droiture " de la Martin avec laquelle je pourrais jouer des heures alors que la résonance de l' autre me fatiguerait plus vite. Bon je repart à Menphis 😉
I bought a furch orange masters thanks to your video now the wierd thing is that it actually does sound similar to yours and seems to love a hard attack but i don't know why it's destroying my fingers, changed so many times the strings from 12 to 10, now i am experimenting with electric strings on them, i think elixir strings are damn hard...
It's true. Compared to Martin guitars, Furch guitars are harder to play. The fingers are sore. The 12/53 on Furch is like the 13/56 on Martin. The problem comes from the nut where the strings are too high. A good luthier can lower the strings to make playing easier ...

The Martin def has a scooped mid-range compared to the Furch - it's what continues to draw me back to Martin's OM28 vs. any other maker's.
Both fantastic but I would guess the furch would be a significantly better value at maybe half the cost of the Martin?
The clarity of the Furch is almost like the sound of a hammered dulcimer. Amazing. Nice playing!

C'est vrai. L'idéal est d'avoir les deux guitares sous la main.

The Martin sounds like it's drowned in water compared to the open resonance of Furch.

Les basses Furch sont plus puissantes que les basses Martin. Mais toute la guitare est plus puissante et plus réactive...
