Since you mentioned Yoritomo's karma, it's not all his fault in history. Yoshitsune was too naive, he never understood or tried to understand what his brother was trying to achieve, on the other hand, I can say he couldn't since all of his vassals were born around Kioto, they couldn't understand why those east japan samurai deeply hated the Kugyo. And he treated his brother's vassals as his own and overlooked them not only made all of them hate him but also wavered his brother's status. btw when he chose to receive the award from Go-Shirakawa Tenno, when he couldn't prevent the death of the young tenno and the loss of one of the three sacred treasures, the finale of his tragedy was destined.

But good on you to shed more light on some things I didn’t get to explore. Benkei became infamous and shows up in a lot of tattoo art because of his final actions and standing death on June 15th.

Loosely based on the Tale of the Heike using Yoshitsune, Benkei and other characters from this time period with a somewhat ficitonal story. I was hoping they would have done the whole Genpei war as a separate Nioh game (was kinda hoping this woulda been Nioh 2)

0:33 is where the track starts. Don't get me wrong, having played the DLC myself i actually appreciate opening with the cutscene, but returning several times i usually just want the music. But keep up the good work, your Nioh 2 vids have been a life saver!
My favorite boss in the Nioh Series so far! I just love fighting this guy, the music is great and really sets the mood I can't cheese him, (I mean I could.... but I don't want to), fighting him is just alot of fun.
Yeah I agree, the boss is really tough but god it’s fun and exhilarating. I got him during the boss fight mainly because I was with a group, but when I fought him again in a duel, it was insane. I beat him first try, but only after he beat me to near death and almost killed me at least 3 times.

Yeah i remember him and we actually fought minamoto no yoshitsune in another sub mission in the dlc as a ghost but i don't remember the mission name or which dlc this mission was included
Yeah I guess it's fair that the first two dlcs for Nioh 1 had two main missions but the main difference is the boss quality in my opinion is better than bosses like date Masamune and Shigezane as examples. The boss quality and music overall is better in this prequel/sequel.
The other difference is that Side Missions are actually important. One of the biggest improvements of Nioh to Nioh 2 was SM expand the lore and progress the story in different ways, Tengu's Disciple furthered that. Not to mention both main missions were long and even featured multiple bosses to progress the story.
@@diegoestmar559 true it did but the main problem for a lot of bosses is that even when I was properly leveled they could still kill me in a couple hits and that happened through all the dlcs but thankfully they balanced it much better in Nioh 2.

@Mr. Hater17 its easy, i don't uses omnyo or ninjutsu, and ofc no summon, nioh, as well as dark souls are far from hard, once you get thé hook of it, you easly know how to behave withs ennemies.
Mr. Hater17 way of the strong, level 215, no summons, no magic, no ninjutsu, no yokai attack (expect for burst counters). Did this all by sword and dual blades. Even tho i first tried him, he still made me use all my elixirs, and he brought my down to almost 25% hp. The fight was great, and i was so glad i did this without summons. However, the side mission killed me a bunch of times. So i guess it was beginners luck ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nioh 1 had some great bosses and Nioh 2 has even more unique bosses in my opinion though i hate them at the same time because smithing text and boss skill.
I ask because you seem to know a lot about the music in this game. I played earlier today one of the new blue missions, the one called ''winds of ruin''. Anyways, it is the one with a lot of human bosses one after another. If you wait and do not stay still, a background music plays that is beautiful and I have not heard it anywhere in your playlist.
