just a cheap tip if you don't care about perfection, if you can't afford 2 rods for a double curtain, you can actually just go with 1 rod and put the semitransparent curtain in the middle and blackout curtain on the sides. during the day you can scrunch the blackout curtain to the sides and the semitransparent curtain will have room in the middle and still look pretty, and at night you can scrunch the semitransparent one in the middle and it'll jumbo enough to still give you privacy
