Hello everyone I am a German guy living an working in Harbin for more than 4 years and also Youtubing a lot about this city. If you need any informations about Harbin let me know! Very nice video and nice editing. Harbin Winters are VERY cold.
Hey! How do we arrange transport from Harbin to Yabuli to Snow Town to Volgar Manor and back to Harbin? Any suggestion? Would last about 1 week starting from Harbin to yabuli. Or can we cater a driver to follow us around for a week?
There is many ways. It depends. One cheap way is to take the Train from Harbin to Mudanjiang and then get off in Yabuli. Volga Manor is not far from Harbin you can go there by taxi. The cheapest ways for travelling is for sure by bus. I am pretty sure there is bus travels organised during winter. There is a tourist center in Zhogyang Dajie and opposite to St Sophie Cathedral. They will provide you with further information. In my oppinion the easiest way (but also the most expensive) is to travel by Taxi, or by Didi (this is the chinese Uber, private taxi). It is fast and easy and you don't have to carry everything around. That would be around 60-80 USD for the cab in total well spent. They are not expensive in Harbin.
Saarland 2 China thanks for reply! Yes we prefer cab actually. You mean we can get a cab from harbin city to yabuli? Or from yabuli to snow town? And how about do cab do from snow town to volgar manor? Usually we just get the hotel lobby to get the cab for us? Thank you
You can get a cab to volgar manor for sure! It is not far. The hotel lobby can get a cab for you or you just ask a Chinese person to order a "Didi" for you. Didi is the Chinese Uber and almost everyone here uses it. I think private cars like Uber will also go to Yabuli. Otherwise I am sure there will be busses going to Yabuli. I suggest you to ask in the Hotel lobby and show the, where you want to go and then point on busses or taxis and they will let you know how to go or organise something for you. They usualy do this. You wont have to take the complicated way by train, that's for sure. If you have any doubt, check out the tourist information next to St. Sophias Cathedral. The might be someone who speaks English. For the rest of Harbin, be aware: No English spoken! Preparing some chinese basics will help a lot, especially when orderig drinks or dishes.
Great video, we visited in January, flying from Michigan USA. We had a fantastic trip and the snow sculptures were breathtaking. We ended our journey in Qinzhou, Guangxi where it was much warmer.
As a Chinese I'd like to tell you that in winter the problem of air pollution is serious in Harbin so if you plan to pay a visit to Harbin you'd better care about the local weather.
oh man, the frozen lashes and frozen hair HAHAHA, plus the amazing ice sculptures, really brings back memories when my family went there a couple years back :,)
Yo SL crew, i went to Singapore early this year, partly because you guys introduced me how Singapore is like through the videos. Great place, thank you!
Harbin is my hometown,I like it very much,Harbin is very cold in winter,But it's also hot in summer,The annual temperature difference in Harbin is 80 ℃

The video editing is extremely great. Music is good, but to loud. And the dubbing seems to low compare to the music. But overall I like it! This really brings back to my visit there, also in the same year in last January. I only have the photo version here: flic.kr/s/aHsmccvi8N
I can't understand 90% of what you guys are saying but Harbin is amazing in Winter and Summer!!

Regardless, they sound fantastic.
Erm... English is our first language here in Singapore.
I thought that Singapore was a polyglot society.
