@@DDSpeedShop Thanks Danny. On a side note, do you have a tach in your 55? Where did you hook up the red wire? I am having an issue with mine. Getting frustrated.
Great video, it brings back memories from the 60's when I was changing engines, and transmissions in my 57 Chevy. Those were fun times. I will be 72 in December, and it does take me a little longer to do things due to Father Time, but I still enjoy working on the old stuff.
There is no better feeling to see the motor / trans go in , I like the look of air cleaner and rocker covers . Soon enough you’ll be banging gears . Cheers .

Dang… that scatter shield is a monster! I stayed with the factory style bellhousing on my 79 Malibu but upgraded to a Muncie m-21, and Hurst competition plus for a 65 Chevelle. Fits nice, shifter is on the money!
Hey Danny, Great job bud. Do yourself a favor and when you're in a junk yard or going by a trany shop, stop by and ask if they have a old pilot shaft that came out of any old broken trany (with the right spline) for GM. Most shops will give you a broken one for free and keep it around for installing bushings and clutch alignment. You can also pickup a cheap alignment tool on Amazon for $20 but I would rather have a real one. The best part of having one is you don't have to worry about messing up the bearing installing it. Have a good one bud. Later
Dan when I was a kid my brother's friend he had a 1970 SS 396 375 horse 4-speed it was a fast fast car man it was fun looks good keep up the good videos man loves them all the best😁👍🛠
