Hi Looks good!!! I wonder..... I bought a 69 Gretsch with binding problem. Is it better to restore for originality or can I replace all bindings with new ones. I can send you detail pictures maybe you can help me. The electronics are also not quite right. Thank you in advance Greetings Koen van Der krogt Dutchman 😎✌️

@@daleGrasso I don’t know of any reputable luthiers in Jackson but I have a few clients who drive here to Nashville. One of them actually flies here on a mid day flight, rents a car and returns the same day for a ridiculous cheap fare. 😊 Frontier Airlines perhaps

Identical to George Harrison’s; double mute and the two different pickups. Maybe even same year. Re binding I find it interesting that both Gretsch and the original Epiphone factory had binding problems. Maybe both factories being in the New York City area had the same supplier for binding; could that be the reason?

Why so you prefer titebond 3 over titebond original?
What other type of glue do you use for the various repairs you do

Titebond III sticks to plastic/ celluloid very good. I use C.A. Titebond Original, fish glue, hot hide & liquid hide glue
