depending on how much of a product you use, travel sizes can be actually better. I'd rather buy a mini size and finish it than buy the bigger version and have it expire before i feel like i've used it up.
Cristina FL yesss I always get travel size high end mascaras because they 1. Expire in like 6 months and there’s no way I’m gonna use all of the full size in that time and 2. The minis are usually half the price which is awesome!!
the thing I will say about the "value" perfume sets: they include a certificate to get a full size roller ball of your choice from that set. So if you like a perfume that you tested from the set, you can get the full size roller ball for free. it's technically not free, but it's good for someone who may want to get footing on what kinda perfume they like or hate. those sample perfume sets are also a really good gift to someone. if you don't know what kinda perfume or cologne the person would like, have them test a few then they can exchange the card for the full size. More often, you pay more than what the roller ball is worth, but some are a good deal. Odds are, the person will discover a perfume they love. it's nice because you can test the perfumes at your own pace. spraying a bunch at one time in a store doesn't do much good and you can't remember what is what. I think this is actually one of those sets that are good for beginners, or gifts. it's not for someone who has a favorite perfume or knows the Sephora cast members.

The little perfume sample testers in the value sets actually are worth the money if you do tend to like a fragrance in the set because if you read the details, you'd know you get to bring back the value set after you've decided which one you like and you get the full size bottle in exchange.

The value sets are actually good if you divide them by oz and grams. I've done all the math.
