Great ideas but might I suggest instead of using a lighter on the glass tube putting the glass in a cup of very hot water. I have done this with a lighter and the glass bottle burst, don't take a chance in hurting yourself.
For the second one, don’t use a lighter, just put in hot water, just hot tap water. I wouldn’t risk the glass breaking personally, plus it would liquify evenly.
Here's my fave hack. When your mascara starts to dry up use a couple of drops of eye drops in tube. Mix with applicator & voila! New mascara until you make that run to Ulta!
you really help me get in touch with my girlie side!! as a working, full time student, wife and mother of 2 i dont have alot of time well, or anything but your videos help me to find ways to look beautiful and in a practical way!! thanks your awesome!
I loved them all but my favorite was for dried eyeshadow because I can use it on my cream blushes and I have been wanting to fix them forever. Thank you!
When adding an oil to a cream product like an eyeshadow or even a cream concealer or contour to either bring it back to life or make it more creamy if it is a dryer formula (like the abh cream contour kit) do you have to use a "wet" beauty oil like argan or marula or can you use a dry beauty oil like the nuxe dry beauty oil? It comes in a liquid but it absorbs much quicker because it's considered a dry oil. I recently gave my friend a concealer palette I recieved in a subscription box because it was too dry for me and it wasn't something I would use because it was actually meant for concealing and not highlighting and, unlike me, she had a lot of acne and acne scars to cover up. Since it was a dry formula, I knew she would need a beauty oil to help make it more creamy and she doesn't own anything like that so I gave her one. At first I gave her my small sample size of my nuxe beauty oil but then realized it is a dry oil so I took it back and gave her my (expensive) full sized marula oil since it was the cheapest of all the oils I own and I hadn't gotten around to using it yet. Now I am wondering if the nuxe dry oil would have worked just the same? I would still let her keep the marula oil since it has so many skin benefits and helps out really well with acne when used consistently, but it would be good to know since I have 2 bottles of it and the ones I have are considered glow oils.
I am so jealous of your eyes. Not only do you have the perfect shade of brown eyes that will go well with any eyeshadow look, but you also have so much lid space and your eyes are so deep set that your crease is so perfectly defined. I hate my blue hooded eyes. I can't do so many looks because they clash with my eyes and because they are hooded, a lot of really cool eye looks just can't be done on me because I don't have the space and as soon as I open my eyes, the look completely disappears or looks weird.
I hav combo/dry skin. I really only have one patch of dry skin on my right jawline but everywhere else is soft and smooth like a baby's bottom. The problem I have, though, is that no matter what foundation I use or what tool I use to apply it, my cheeks and nose, especially, end up looking super flakey, think of how the desert ground looks all cracked and dry. I even make sure to use a serum, moisturizer and beauty oil before I do my makeup and let it fully sink in for at least 20 minutes before I do my makeup and I use a moisturizing primer. Just starting out with foundation, it already looks dry and cracked, but if I add any type of setting powder, even the Laura Mercier loose translucent setting powder, it makes the situation even worse. I have even tried using MAC's mineralized skin finish as a setting powder to try and hide the appearance of it with the tiny reflects in the powder and it doesn't do anything. I am in serious need of some help! I've talked to the skin experts at sephora and have tried hyaluronic acid products from Peter Thomas Roth, I've tried really good exfoliators, I've tried glycolic acid peels, I've even tried that $100 dollar bee venom face moisturizer and as soft as they have made my face, it has made no difference in how my foundations apply. To give you an idea, I've also tried tons of foundations ranging in price from $6 to $60 and have used all kinds of tools from the standard beauty blender to the artis brush. I am at my wits end and am starting to think I may just have to start going without foundation.
Im using lipstick for my eyes shadow.. so is not something new for me but if too long on my eyes. feel heavy.. hahaha but that lip liner mmm so excited. I'll try!!
Your hacks are amaze balls every time!! Literally, I have never seen a repeat hack on your channel that I've already seen elsewhere, or one that isn't freaking amazing!! I think the Lush one is my fav, and now I have to make a trip to Lush tomorrow!! I love cutting the tube one too🤗 As always, lots of love from Pittsburgh💛😗💛
Just make sure the lipstick doesn’t have ingredients that will irritate your eye. The reverse is also true. Some eye products have ingredients that were not meant to be ingested.
Hey from Michigan!! This was honestly so unique and helpful. Also, a request for another video deals is foundation hacks. My foundation shows a lot of pores on my face you normally wouldn't see, and I was wondering if there are ways to fix my foundation or the pores. Thanks!!💓
Another thing that works well for squeeze tubes is getting one of those things that goes on toothpaste tubes to squeeze out the toothpaste evenly for those people who are middle tube squeezers. That will get out a ton of extra product and when you are at the end of the tube, push down the opening flat against the device and you will get the rest out from the corners of the top part of the tube. Once you've done all that, you can then cut open the tube towards the very end of the tube and invest in a makeup spatula and scrape out all the product that was left behind. I swear by the makeup spatulas. They are flexible and shaped in a way that they can clean the sidewalls of any makeup product that you can get open to access the product.
Hey girl, that was some awesome make up Becks. Thanks for sharing..... I started some of your hair tricks yesterday. Can wait to take a picture of my hair in about a month to see some improvement. Fingers crossed.. Lol. As always sending you and hubby, love, hope, joy and be blessed in the new year. All the way from southern Oregon...🎉🎉🎉❤😁🌆🌃...
With the glass foundation you could also put it in a glass with hot water to melt all the product from the side of the glass down to the pump. This also works with lip glosses and liquid eyeliners etc 😊😊😊
Hi im a new subscriber ..i loved your video and will be trying some of those myself ...ive tried liquid liner mixed with a little concealer as a spot concealer and a red lipstick very lightly to cover eyebags... great video thankyou xxx

Agreed. Should only heat test tubes. They’re tempered specifically.
iciejava Where does she put a lighter on a glass tube? A metal spoon never glass!
Tammy James 2:11 she's putting it under the glass foundation

For the second one, don’t use a lighter, just put in hot water, just hot tap water. I wouldn’t risk the glass breaking personally, plus it would liquify evenly.
Here's my fave hack. When your mascara starts to dry up use a couple of drops of eye drops in tube. Mix with applicator & voila! New mascara until you make that run to Ulta!
