It used to be a classy ground - 30,000 capacity, with the West Stand covered terracing running the length of the pitch - before they turned it into a housing development…
@@Isleofskye For most matches, the answer is yes. I believe there have been only two or three "sell outs" so far this season. There always seems to be single tickets available. You can buy tickets through the website or the ticket office directly.
@@2001MBKBooster You might have done me a big favour as my team are at Home on Monday Night so I reckon a great opportunity and, not only, that, but I wanted to treat my friend, an Orient fan, who has had a torrid couple of tears and I think this is a great opportunity. I will let you know how I get on with the tickets,,my friend:)
April,1971. THIRTY THREE THOUSAND (33,000) 20,000 Birmingham (needing a point on the last game here to get to the Top Division) 8,000 Millwall( who would go up for the first time ever if Brum failed )and 5,000 Orient(don't know why turned up. LOL) Birmingham scored a 70th minute through Bob Latchford and it was back on the tube to South East London and another 16 years before Millwall, finally, went up after over 100 years then.
enjoyed that, pie n mash looked decent too..Tottenham fan here, moved to Thailand 16 years ago so not been to the new ground, so if you can do WHL would be great.....decent pubs and food outlets on the high road and its been said the food and beer inside the ground is very good.
@@eerhartb Nice to hear it. I f*cking hate the amount of Real Madrid, Man City, Liverpool, Utd, Bayern so on so on fans exist. I am supprised that you know who we are though
Come and visit Maidenhead United who play in the oldest continously used ground by one club in the world. They've been playing there since February 1871.
As a Spurs fan living in Surrey I often meet a couple of mates one a West Ham fan and go to see the Orient £5 for old gits it’s a brilliant club and ground ( it was my dads team as well). COYO’s
Watched your videos from Argentina, Italy Germany, Holland, Bulgaria...no matter if the game is poor, the fans always crazy & entertaining - In England if the football no good...we have a problem
I’ve been before as i support Exeter and it’s class definitely the best in London it seemes the same as Fulham since the grounds in a housing estate but never been Fulham (it probably held considering we were too nailed down and scored two last-minute goals and it was under the lights)
Lol we started singing “it’s a long way back to ______ when you’re shit” to Carlisle fans, it’s got closer and closer to home with every home win 😂 Charlton getting the treatment 🔜
Had a great away day there 2014! Down to 10 players and win 1-0 , was the defining match that I would say got us promotion! We’ve come along way since then in league 1… can you guess my club?
Best away day for any London club IF you can get a boat up to Leyton…. But I would argue that Wimbledon is a decent away day due to Earlsfield being close to the ground and has many pubs/food places on the way… solid 8/10 for Orient though
@@DonsOnTour Thanks,My Friend. The last time I went to Wimbledon, Francis Joseph was playing as in "Jo Jo Have A Go" as I recall and he left Wimbledon after that first spell in 1982,so, just the odd 43 years ago now. lol If I had not STUPIDLY not kept a Diary then I would have all the facts at my disposal of every one of the 1,800 games that I attended since 1962. At my age,I won't be hiring a bike. lol Good Luck, mate.
Hello again mate. Sad news I am afraid as I really wanted to treat my mate as he lost both Parents at Christmas Time, 2 and around 20 years, respectively and when I rang him at 11.45 pm on New Year's Eve, he was sitting near Big Ben, choked up awaiting the Midnight chimes and he was delighted when I told him I had tickets (to make sure that he got out of the house,I told him I had them already). He was delighted as he had not been for 12 years. HOWEVER,I have just rung up and The Ticket Office informed me it is "Home Account Holders Only" as Derby has sold out their 2,000+ and you had to have an account by 31.12/24 😥 So I have just rung him to tell them the reality and though he was, clearly, disappointed, he thanked me for the thought. Thanks for the info. again,my friend.
Thanks for the nice words about Orient! It’s defo underrated
Aye it's a class ground we have, you boys could still break out of the bottom four knowing Cambridge.
It used to be a classy ground - 30,000 capacity, with the West Stand covered terracing running the length of the pitch - before they turned it into a housing development…
Love watching this channel! And I finally see 100k and think to myself that's so deserved
Fulham away is amazing, do the boat trip before. There’s a tiny section of my brain that will be forever hungover from it
It’s hard to even think what Londons best away day is. I’ve only been to Orient as a neutral. But Charlton, Fulham and QPR are all class.
Thanks for this vid, FJ!
The pals and I should definitely do LO away, if Cambridge United do still survive, hopefully...! 🤞💛🖤
Fulham is a great away day , that walk along the Thames to the ground
Fulham is the best away day in London. Lots of good Olde Worlde pubs, nice walk along the footpath beside the river, decent friendly fans
As an Orient supporter, I say a visit to Brisbane Road is London's best home day!
Can you just turn up these days and get a ticket? Haven't been for 35 years, literally.
I will go this season if you are able to.

Atleast there are real fans over there instead of most people in the UK that only support a big club in the Premier League 🤗🫡
Absulote facs Herrenveen boy. But I must say that allot of dutch people I speek to support Ajax. I dont think its a UK only issue

Great ground. Great location, great pubs. Terrible home support though. Every time I’ve been, it’s completely dead. No singing end.
Our South Stand is essentially our singing section. But yeah we can be a bit quiet.
You should come to tranmere with Carlisle on Saturday mate over 800 blues travelling while being worst team in efl last 18month
U should go to another Swindon game Josh
