imo, This is one of the best paint jobs I have seen, I love all the detail that you put into it. This is one of the few custom helmets that I have seen that I think is actually with the money. I will make sure to keep you in mind if and when I decide to get a custom paint job on my bike.
The cling film gave a great effect, at first I was like "c'mon wtf you doing man" but I would have never thought it would come out like that. Great job dude, real skill there.
Firstly that wrinkle look is awesome and you make it look so easy!!! Awesome idea, and secondly will you be doing a 'How to...' on skulls, I'm trying to design some on paper first and the one you designed at 3.25 is really wicked and cant quite figure out how to do them with airbrush.......
I could never do this. The whole way through paint videos I'm like, this is gonna look like shit. Then they add another layer and make it look pretty good. Then they add another layer and I'm like, WTF are you doing it's fine! Then in the end I realize I had no idea where they were going but it's awesome.
ma men. Is it now over 9 years ago? wow I loved your video back in the day as a kid, it's awesome to be able to go back in time best wisches from berlin city
never tried this before but getting inspired watchin this. was spray painter to trade many moons ago. Just one question the final red clear coat is that just a tinted laquer?
in my opinion i think the small skull needed a dark green candy over them would have looked sweet... thats me thinking of the skulls cuz i dont even like green,, but still looks sweet man... and tips on airbrushing skulls?
very nice man i learned what i wanted to know. but i didnt understand why u painted the helmet grey after u sanded it, then painted it black again if the original color was black?
im a catcher on my baseball team and i wanted to paint my mask with some detail, its like a hockey mask and i thought it would be sick to paint it. whats the best/easiest way to paint it that helmets amazing btw
amazing work!!! that said. if i was paying for the helmet which im sure is very expensive. id mention at 5min 41secs, the skull with the mohawk of horns is off. the largest horn next to the eyes is off center. closer to its right eye. but i also have add so who cares.
nice work...same kind a theme as mine..check it out..but what brand of clear did you use..i like that finish..and how many coats..thanks and great art.... tim (england)
How high a grain du you polish with after the PPG vibrance clear? Or does'nt it need polish??? The vrinkles sems simple enough. Gonna try them on my skate/cycle helmet
Hi Guys! I am right about to spray my old helmet, but I need some suggestions. First: does the wrapping technique still works if I use cans instead of air painting? Second: I am guessing if the basic color should be white or black. I mean, if I spray black for basic, can I add white patterns? Does the white totally cover the black? Sorry for these many questions...it is my first attempt at painting. For sure my result won't be the masterpiece seen in this video.
@reedbrospainting hey man, lots of compliments!!!! i'm still amazed by your work *_* however, con you please tell me the name of the background music? thx
You've finished varnishing and sanding these, tell me not to scratch? ...... then you do please tell me that you're working air pressure? Thanks Hernán From Perú
