my unpopular opinion is that Happy Place by Emily Henry is overyhyped!! it’s just one big miscommunication tripe!! MAYBE SPOILER: Wyn and Harriet had so much time to speak to each other, but every time they interacted, they just chose to ignore the issue at hand!!
I agree about Fourth Wing but I also think it was written for the masses, it’s an entry level fantasy like HP or Hunger Games. Us as daily readers have a harder time calling it amazing because of all the in depth fantasy we have read where someone still getting into reading would find it amazing.
There is a company called Planet Express which allows you to buy things from other countries that you wouldn't normally be able to and they will ship it to you. It's perfect if you want to get Barnes and Noble exclusive editions in the UK. And it works the other way too, if you want to buy books from the UK ❤️

The first Emily Henry book I ever read was Happy Place. This was pretty early on when I was getting back into reading. Then I read her other books and ended up liking Book Lovers and People We Meet on Vacation best. But most everyone likes Beach Read and Happy Place over those two, so I’ve been wanting to reread all of them to see if my opinions differ now. 🤷🏼♀️
I finished People We Meet on Vacation last night and I completely agree with whoever said it’s Emily Henry’s best book!! I didn’t think I’d like it because the consensus seems to be that it’s Emily Henry’s worst adult romance, but it was AMAZING!! I genuinely cannot comprehend how so many people dislike that book. It was a masterpiece. I cried so many times over it lmao. There were so many beautiful quotes & Alex is the most precious thing ever.
Also, I wish publishers would put designs on the hardcovers and get rid of dust jackets. I want my library to look old and fun. Sometimes the dust jackets look so busy.

it is a bit of a spoiler but also for people who are really triggered by things like that if they’ve had pregnancy loss or something it’s really really important they know it’s there before reading it so like sometimes spoilers are needed if it’s a serious topic

Destiny, if you want to get the Waterstones special edition of Hunger games in the US, you can get it from Scholastic UK. That’s how I was able to get them!
I live in the US and was able to order the Hunger Games exclusive books from Waterstones when they first released. Did I get lucky in being able to get them??? Now when I look on the website they're able to be pre-ordered but just to the UK :( I will never get rid of these books LOL
My truck is "old" enough to only have Sirius (I don't pay for it), but no Bluetooth. I have an aux cord, but my phone port is messed up since they are chargers and aux ports together now. Instead, I still use CD's or even cassettes in the dually. CD's and cassettes are superior to Bluetooth in my "unpopular" opinion. Same with my radio. It's buttons and not a lcd or touchscreen that gets dirty and is so bright and annoying.
