► VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Today we hunt for mushrooms in the woods! I’ve been waiting all year for this and am excited to check out new spots. The first location has trees that Golden Chanterelles love to grow by. Loved wandering in the greenery :)
While anticipation soars high, we keep in mind that the ideal growing conditions in this area was short compared to previous years. In the last two years, there was an abundance of mushrooms. We didn’t even have to try to find them: there were even HUGE ones right by the road!
In this video, I also show you how to grow Shiitake Mushrooms at home using fruiting blocks. Then we harvest, cook and eat them!
