I love the calmness of this video - your shots were so cinematic, capturing the grandeur of the landscape, and the beauty of your family. Loved your hushed tones while narrating. The music bed was perfect as well. I really enjoyed this, Jay! Thank you.
This vlog is such a VIBE! SUBLIME! You know your talent and you are not wasting it one bit! ❤🎉 Fuji is so otherworldly. I shed tears seeing it IRL! You managed to capture it in this film. WOW. JUST WOW. 😊
Just beautiful 😍. Thank you for sharing these special moments with me. Happy belated birthday Story🎉. You are a very special person 🥰. Love watching you.
February of this year i explore Osaka,Kyoto , Kobe and Namba but my time wasn't enough and i said to myself I'll come back next year.❤❤❤ Can't wait for more vedios
Great vlog. Bravo 👏. I enjoyed the swan feeding with beautiful Mt Fuji in the background with perfect atmosphere. And you chose a perfect musical background. Really Good Vibes. Thank you.
There’s something sooo special about the way you guys have edited this series so far! So excited to see the rest of the trip with how amazing it looks, and cheers to the lovely Story on her birthday 💛
Geologically dramatic like California. It's great Story gets to see Japan- that is good for her education. I have a copy of Hokksai Great Wave of Kanegawa with Mt. Fuji in distance.
If you miss the pine smells, there is actually a species of pine native to the Philippines - the Benguet pine (also called the three-needled pine). They thrive naturally in mountains in the Philippines (Baguio, Bukidnon, Davao, etc.), but they can grow even in the hotter lowlands. You can plant some on your land.
@@8milesfromhome I think the soil on your land is far enough away from the shoreline for it not to be a problem. Benguet pines are adapted to limestone soil anyway. You can try. Sapings are cheap and quite commonly sold in plant nurseries in Mindanao. At least in Region 10 (Cagayan de Oro, Bukidnon, etc.). And they are very fragrant. Their resin is actually high quality and are traditionally used as incense.
man so glad you guys enjoyed the trip so far, i've been in japan for the past 3 months and i've only visited two places outside of tokyo but i don't have much time left here so it's nice to eperience these different places through you guys and seeing story's reacions.
Thank you so much for sharing those magic videos ! The colors are so real and beautiful that I can almost smell! I can feel your happiness and Story warmth my heart , so much sweetness in her !❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your vlogs are always good but these in Japan are the next level. Rich color saturation, appropriate mood music, good sound - Japan has truly inspired you. 🎉
Japan is fully aircon when we went there last october 26 to nov 2. I hate the winter and summer in japan. Best time to visit is late part of october to december.
love this japan videos, you have some great shots , may i know what camera you are using for this, love the quality, but you really make it better, also with the music so calming
If we can afford to, then we’d love to. It’s a lovely and beautiful country. Cherry blossoms would make it even prettier but perhaps crazy busy also. 😅
Welcome eight miles from home ,here in Japan.if you ever come here in Sendai ,it’s much colder coz there is constant snow rain during winter located on the upper part of 🇯🇵
We filmed mostly on the iPhone11 ProMax and DJI Mavic Pro 1, and Sony A7sii for Starlight footage. We recently upped the quality to 4k for this Japan series so that's why it looks clearer. :-D

Ooo that's true, we saw those in Tagaytay and our trip to Bukidnon. I'm not sure they'd grow in the island soil though

Early spring is the best time to be in Japan. Being there for the cherry blossom festival and the new leaves is the most spectacular time of the year.
