This song touches the soul 😢 ❤
I first heard this song at Newport Folk Festival 2014 at the Museum Stage. Tim was on the stage and the rest of the band was spread out of to the sides of the room. I did not know, at the time, that they where a part of the band. Tim starts of the song by him self and I was blown away when people all around the room (or so it seemed) started singing along in perfect harmony. I cried, it was so beautiful. It was one of the best musical experience of my life. So the day after I just had to go see them on the main stage for their full performance. This song will always have a special place in my heart and this performance always reminds me of that day in Newport.
Damn, I wish I saw that. Newport is only like a 25 minute drive.

This song just made me cry and I can't stop and I feel so sad for all the bad decisions I've made in my life I was to tell and cream to the world to God that I'm sorry I never meant to hurt my kids my mom my dogs which I never took walking anymore. I want to change so bad and this song will help me I'm halfway there I know it. Like when your walking down a long empty road full of nothing but silence from those I love the most. Mom is gone now and I never got to tell her just how much it hurts to see her cry for me

I too have found myself here via' The blacklist'. I must at this point point out that due to this song I have listened to quite a few of ages and ages songs. I do like some but with all due respect to ages and ages I probably wont be going out of my way to follow them. This song though, and with it this video I absolutely love!! . I can and have listened to it over and over again. There are very few songs in our lives that sing to the 'soul' but this is one that definably does. Great song great video. THANK YOU
