I just purchased the app killer and it only works on one firestick. It cannot load it on my other firesticks without having to buy again. I thought once you buy you can use on every firestick on your primary account. Is this not true???
You do only need to buy it once. As long as you are logged into the other firesticks with the same Amazon username, you will NOT have to pay again. I've installed it on 3 different firesticks, no problem.
Yes, this closes ALL apps. I've already contacted TDUK and he's working on the next version where there will be a list of Apps you can leave open, like VPNs and Security Dots. The best part is, all updates are included forever, so you'll never have to buy this again.

i have a 4k firestick and i discovered that there's nothing on the stick that i could'nt get over the internet on my laptop. it makes me laugh when i see video's like this that tell me of some great new app to close other apps on my firestick to gain more speed, they think they're saving time but, actually it's easier to just use a computer to watch all this stuff and not worry about it slowing your computer down.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said, it's well worth the $1.99 price in my opinion. I just fired up my old Amazon 4k Firestick and 59 apps were running. That would take me a 1/2 hour to close all those apps (by the way, restarting doesn't close them). My time is worth way more than that, how 'bout yours? 👍
That message usually means there's a problem with your Downloader apps permissions or version. Try uninstalling the Downloader app and re-download/install it. Be sure to accept all permissions the 1st time you open it. Let me know how you make out. I just checked the website and all is AOK there. 👍

Will using this app force stop my VPN? If so then I will have to restart my VPN every time I use it to stop background apps running. Correct?
No. The latest version whitelists VPNs so they won't stop.

It does.. after you force close all the apps. Press exit and it closes that app. It's not taking up any resources like the streaming apps anyway.
