If you’re just talking about the shadow ban system, it’s not a manipulation; it’s a good system in theory just doesn’t work because they don’t have it set properly and admittedly use AI to deal with the shadow ban system.
It wouldn’t surprise me if activision sold cheats themselves. COD has become a money grab, they charge you up to $99 for the game, $10+ dollars for the seasons as well as bundles. They want to charge you for audio, why wouldnt they sell cheats for their own game?

I would like to say something i haven't seen many pointing out. The warzone announcer voiceline is 100% AI generated. It's because in the beginning when a match is about to start, he says "all stations, this is shadow 0-1" which is what graves said when he was the announcer. This heavily implies they AI generated the new voiceline and replaced it with graves' voice. I could also notice the new announcer says the same things as graves 1:1 with not much new voice lines, and this clearly shows that with the game they developed for "4 years", they were lazy enough to make a proper voiceline for an announcer

I’m a legit player and have been shadow banned back in modern warfare 2019 and vanguard, you can tell the first game once you in shadowed lobbies then go type your name in and check it, went away after a few weeks but I couldn’t play in that time because of how bad the lobbies became

I never had games in mw3 where i dropped under a 1.0 kd and yet every other game in bo6 its happening. Ill go 2.20 kd then 1.13 then 1.5 back up to 2.0. AND again right back down to 1.0 its like it is almost doing it on purpose, ITS WILD the consistent pattern. God it is frustrating i just wish i could put the controller down from this game.

Honestly, at this point, I genuinely believe Ricochet is just something Call of Duty puts on the loading screen to make people think they’re doing something about cheaters. Here’s my take: Call of Duty actually caters to cheaters more than it does to legitimate players. This is a company that makes billions of pounds a year. Are we really supposed to believe they can’t develop an anti-cheat system that actually works? Of course they can. But I think they make far too much money from cheaters to properly address the issue. Hear me out: most games implement HWID bans, which block a cheater’s entire hardware setup. If they want to play again, they’d need to buy a completely new computer and get a new internet connection. Call of Duty, on the other hand, only bans the account, not the person. Why? Because most cheaters are fine with creating a new account and buying the game again. Remember when they banned 100,000 accounts at once on Modern Warfare? Let’s say only half of those cheaters bought the game again with new accounts. Here in the UK, Call of Duty costs around £50. That’s an extra £2.5 million they made from cheaters - money they wouldn’t have earned if they’d banned the individual rather than just the account. And the cycle continues to this day. Malicious reporting includes selecting all checkboxes (CHEATING, EXPLOITING, TEXTCHAT-OFFENSE, etc.) in your report. Thats why 8000 accounts were banned for. Read the "Call of Duty Security and Enforcement Policy" before saying something, Lloyd.

7:55 Spam reports DO have an effect on players’ accounts. I have had these spam reports effect my account. Shadow banned and especially the comm and text bans. I have gotten comm bans when I wasn’t using lobby chat. I was just talking to my party, but ricochet doesn’t discern between players with party chat or lobby chat. When I got off the ban the same guy reported me again and I was never in a lobby with em but STILL caught another ban. It was only after I made several complaints on the COD site that anything was done. The took me off comm ban 3 days before it was supposed to end and took action against the player who was using the system to troll me. He was messing with me for a month because I destroyed him in a regular pub match. THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN AND PEOPLE ABUSE IT DAILY TO IMPACT PLAYERS THAT BEAT THEM IN A MATCH!
What I can't understand is the lack of transparancy towards the customers, which that's what we are, they keep getting away as company with things that doesn't happen in other business kinds. Like a legit player gets banned, send a ticket to appeal, the reply most likely is automated at first, then you gotta keep emailing until someone actually talks to you, then they never say why you got banned, is always something like "there's something on your computer that triggered the ban" but they never say what it was exactly. Either if you bougth the game, a bundle or battle pass, you are a paid customer, you have the right to know why you are banned. Also, if we send a report and then we get a message "we took action on a player you reported" we also should know who was that player. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc etc... you send a report and they let you know whatever happened next and which post, account etc it is related to. Here in Europe there's a petition going to start more legislation towards gaming companies and customer protection because of things like this. The main example that's being used is the way companies shutdown single player games because of their always online policy, and people not being able to play since the servers were closed. The Crew is actually what started this petition.
This is absolute truth the shadow ban is trash, being a good player in 2024 is the most unrewarding thing ever in COD. Ive been shadow banned every other week for the last 2 months because i get spammed reported as a cheater because i absolutely thrash my lobbies. Instead of a report for each player button there should be a investigate game. So the game number lobby will be investigated and see what hacks or cheats were used and who to ban permanently. Facial recognition should also be introduced to stop children playing. Facial recognition should also be used to log in for each lobby so no bypassing for kids to play.

Skill based damage is definitely a thing. They've already shown that, people just don't remember. Ricochet used to turn damage off for aimbotters. What makes you think they can't do that in a normal match when you seemingly go off? Why can timmy with his two thumbs zip me down with an XM4 with 4-5 bullets getting POG wiping 5 people out without reloading? Meanwhile that gun is the most painful turd in the game to use. 20 bullets every engagement whilst constantly getting hitmarkers to the point you can't count them? If you have any doubt about skill based damage in the game you're a fool at this point and will eat paint chips if someone swears they are potato chips. The evidence is there, people just gloss over it or chalk it up to bad netcode. At this point, its a blatant thing we think is broken in the game and it's a social experiment to see how much we will turn a blind eye to as a community.
2:50 not even 2 weeks ago i was playing rebirth, died to a hacker, and they got banned a few minutes later during the match. I am like in the average lobby so that might be why it worked
9:06 When they report say a 1000 times it’s a good indicator they are using cheat software as a normal player it would take a decent amount of time to send that many. They prob also can see how fast your reports are logged, helping see who’s using cheats.
Did my own testing on reporting. I was never able to get anyone kicked by mass reporting while spectating, depending on how much you report people it will have an effect on your next match, 1-10 reports will get you into a slightly easier lobby, 20+ reports in a short time on multiple players will get you a SUPER SWEATY lobby for at least 3 games and make you want to quit. Overall if you report the first 3 people that kill you you will get an easier lobby next game

Ricochet was never cheating. It still takes manual aiming skills and scope to even do it often. The real issue for me is some bullets go through cement in one stage but doesn’t in another ….

It's because in the beginning when a match is about to start, he says "all stations, this is shadow 0-1" which is what graves said when he was the announcer. This heavily implies they AI generated the new voiceline and replaced it with graves' voice. I could also notice the new announcer says the same things as graves 1:1 with not much new voice lines, and this clearly shows that with the game they developed for "4 years", they were lazy enough to make a proper voiceline for an announcer

Honestly, at this point, I genuinely believe Ricochet is just something Call of Duty puts on the loading screen to make people think they’re doing something about cheaters. Here’s my take: Call of Duty actually caters to cheaters more than it does to legitimate players.
This is a company that makes billions of pounds a year. Are we really supposed to believe they can’t develop an anti-cheat system that actually works? Of course they can. But I think they make far too much money from cheaters to properly address the issue.
Hear me out: most games implement HWID bans, which block a cheater’s entire hardware setup. If they want to play again, they’d need to buy a completely new computer and get a new internet connection. Call of Duty, on the other hand, only bans the account, not the person. Why? Because most cheaters are fine with creating a new account and buying the game again.
Remember when they banned 100,000 accounts at once on Modern Warfare? Let’s say only half of those cheaters bought the game again with new accounts. Here in the UK, Call of Duty costs around £50. That’s an extra £2.5 million they made from cheaters - money they wouldn’t have earned if they’d banned the individual rather than just the account. And the cycle continues to this day.
Call of Duty is keeping cheaters around because it’s profitable, and it’s the legitimate players who end up suffering. Oh, and by the way, spam reporting still works. A cheater spam-reported me after I called them out, and I’ve been shadow-banned for nine days now. I’m done playing Call of Duty. No longer enjoyable. Hope the extra money is worth potentially destroying your franchise.

I have had these spam reports effect my account.
Shadow banned and especially the comm and text bans.
I have gotten comm bans when I wasn’t using lobby chat.
I was just talking to my party, but ricochet doesn’t discern between players with party chat or lobby chat.
When I got off the ban the same guy reported me again and I was never in a lobby with em but STILL caught another ban.
It was only after I made several complaints on the COD site that anything was done.
The took me off comm ban 3 days before it was supposed to end and took action against the player who was using the system to troll me.
He was messing with me for a month because I destroyed him in a regular pub match.
THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN AND PEOPLE ABUSE IT DAILY TO IMPACT PLAYERS THAT BEAT THEM IN A MATCH!
What I can't understand is the lack of transparancy towards the customers, which that's what we are, they keep getting away as company with things that doesn't happen in other business kinds.
Like a legit player gets banned, send a ticket to appeal, the reply most likely is automated at first, then you gotta keep emailing until someone actually talks to you, then they never say why you got banned, is always something like "there's something on your computer that triggered the ban" but they never say what it was exactly.
Either if you bougth the game, a bundle or battle pass, you are a paid customer, you have the right to know why you are banned.
Also, if we send a report and then we get a message "we took action on a player you reported" we also should know who was that player. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc etc... you send a report and they let you know whatever happened next and which post, account etc it is related to.
Here in Europe there's a petition going to start more legislation towards gaming companies and customer protection because of things like this. The main example that's being used is the way companies shutdown single player games because of their always online policy, and people not being able to play since the servers were closed. The Crew is actually what started this petition.

Instead of a report for each player button there should be a investigate game. So the game number lobby will be investigated and see what hacks or cheats were used and who to ban permanently. Skill based damage is definitely a thing. They've already shown that, people just don't remember. Ricochet used to turn damage off for aimbotters. What makes you think they can't do that in a normal match when you seemingly go off? Why can timmy with his two thumbs zip me down with an XM4 with 4-5 bullets getting POG wiping 5 people out without reloading? Meanwhile that gun is the most painful turd in the game to use. 20 bullets every engagement whilst constantly getting hitmarkers to the point you can't count them? If you have any doubt about skill based damage in the game you're a fool at this point and will eat paint chips if someone swears they are potato chips. The evidence is there, people just gloss over it or chalk it up to bad netcode. At this point, its a blatant thing we think is broken in the game and it's a social experiment to see how much we will turn a blind eye to as a community.

When they report say a 1000 times it’s a good indicator they are using cheat software as a normal player it would take a decent amount of time to send that many.
They prob also can see how fast your reports are logged, helping see who’s using cheats.
Did my own testing on reporting. I was never able to get anyone kicked by mass reporting while spectating, depending on how much you report people it will have an effect on your next match, 1-10 reports will get you into a slightly easier lobby, 20+ reports in a short time on multiple players will get you a SUPER SWEATY lobby for at least 3 games and make you want to quit. Overall if you report the first 3 people that kill you you will get an easier lobby next game

Back in 2021 I played Black Ops Cold War. That game was the main game I bought a bundle every month. Sometimes more than once a month. That game also is the only game where my K/D was much higher and I had better games nearly all the time. In that games beginning. The matches were horrible until I started buying from the store.

False advertising:
If the game advertised features or functionality that are not present in the actual game.
a civil lawsuit against the game developer, alleging a specific legal claim like a breach of contract (related to the terms of service), consumer protection violation
Defective product:
If the game contains bugs or glitches that cause significant gameplay disruption or harm to the user.

Ricochet was never cheating. It still takes manual aiming skills and scope to even do it often. The real issue for me is some bullets go through cement in one stage but doesn’t in another ….
Cheaters can cheat or hack but if i swear i get in trouble.... What a joke
People who cheat complaining the game isn’t good enough at catching cheaters
