- Welcome to my Channel - In this video we arrive back at North Yorkshire Moors Railway station in Pickering. Karen & I have a quick walk around Pickering town centre before the Taxi came to take us back to the Black Bull Caravan Park
We had a full day out aboard steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors railway which took us to Whitby, there we had some free time to explore Whitby before our return journey to Pickering.

Really cool seeing the train and station at the beginning. Enjoyed the walk around Pickering. Looks like a really nice town. Is North Yorkshire part of York? I visited York several years ago. Hello Sue nice to meet you, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it, If you enjoyed the steam train may be you would like to check out the previous videos are the steam train ride from Pickering to Whitby, a walk around Whitby (a lovely harbour town on the coast) & the return train journey back to Pickering. York is part of North Yorkshire. A very long time ago Yorkshire was one big county but was subdivide into 4 counties North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire & the East riding of Yorkshire, Karen & I live in South Yorkshire & York is just over one hours drive from where we live on the outskirts of Sheffield.
