Lost my mom to Covid 12/14/21. I took her to the hospital Thanksgiving day. The holidays will never be the same and starting a New Year has been the most painful time of my life. I felt like I was having a nervous breakdown and crippling anxiety but these meditation videos are truly saving me right now. Thank you and wish anyone peace and comfort that has lost someone they hold dear. We can honor them by practicing self care best we can 💜

Thank you, so much.. sincerely. i lost my boy, Ninoo, 6 years ago on this day, i thought about him all day today to the point, i am unable to deal with this. My medications have failed. Every year it gets harder. The injustice... i know my boy is in a happy place, absolutely safe and he must be with my maternal Grandparents, who must be giving him lots of treats, hugs and love. There's no one to hurt him there. He's no longer suffering. It's just me, alone, suffering... still waiting for my boy. i love him so much.

Thank you so much for healing me. My grandma passed away two days ago all of a sudden. I was very shocked, and immediately started a strong feeling of guilt, regret and sadness. She’s back home in my country and I’m living in a different country. I should’ve spoken to her more on the phone. I should’ve connected with her and helped her out with her life. I should’ve spreaded joy in her life.
But now I must move on. I’ve to learn the lessons from this suffering and put into actions in my life. I’ve now three other grand parent left, I’m going to start connecting with them. And take care of their loved ones.
If you’ve also lost someone, spend time with your loved ones that are alive and appreciate them. Life is way too short. I wish you all the best!

i had a friend pass away from suicide 4 years ago. I had a feeling that after a year these thoughts would pass. I moved away from my home town and moved back and noticed i was being reminded of these memories and feelings mostly and forgot how to control them. it's hard to talk to my other friends about it because i do not want to remind them of the pain as i think they have moved on. I was the last of the friends to see him so I feel like i have a different process as i am sure all of us who were friends of his did too. this video helped take those negative thoughts that were in the back of my head and push them forward, not in a scary way, but a way to through them in an snow globe as i was imagining and to fill them with good!

Sorry for everyone's lost. My heart is with all of yous. My mom pass on 12-14-20 from heart failure. My mother and i never had that mother daughter relationship, untill 2 years prior to her death when i found out that she had 38 blood clots in her lungs. I ask her to move in with me so that i can help her and take care of her. I live an hour and a half way. February 2018 is when she decided to move. That was one of my best moments. I get to have that mother and daughter relationship bond that i never had from her. When covid came around, thats where she started getting mean and meaner. All because i wanted to keep her safe cause she was at very high risk. Her death was sudden she was malting from the feet up. She never told me that she stopped all medication that led to her getting a blood clot in her leg that cut off all circulation from the waist down. Her last word to me were not in a nice way. I love u. Im dying tell ur brothers and sister i love them. It was very hard and im still taking it hard along. Right before Christmas and New Years is her birthday. Holiday are not the same. I will get stronger. But at least i got to have what i was striving as a kid. Mother daughter bonding with one and others. I will never forget all the good times we had and bad. R. I P MOM U R FOREVER IN MY HEART

My loss is active, happening in real time- and I don’t know how to process it as someone who compartmentalizes everything.
Where do you start? How do you cry- and feel so you can start accepting and moving past?
I’m still wedged between anger and bargaining. The anger makes me feel in control of my emotions, because grief is so helpless- but feeling anger is anything but control.
The one thing in all my 30 years I was 100% sure about, something I felt in my bones was taken away and transmuted into a dulled version. I’ve never felt more joy and more alive than holding this knowledge and woman close to my side.
I’ve clung on so hard to denial for months on end & my world is so bleak. So small and dull.
And I’m doing everything I can to throw myself into productivity and keeping busy, anything I can control to the point of exhaustion.
I despise slowing down even in the slightest. Until this guided meditation.
So thank you. Thank you for helping me feel instead of pushing it away.
Thank you to anyone reading this and sitting here in solidarity.
No human emotion is an island regardless of how isolating it feels.

I really liked the idea of narrowing griefs and losses down to three, and thinking what small steps you could take to help them very much. Yes, taking action is wonderful, and there are always some small steps you can take like doing meditation, visualization, alternating facing your sorrow and distracting yourself with activities that give you even a little respite or joy, or getting grief therapy - so I liked that part very much. However, I found facing my grief, sorrow, and despair, befriending them and learning to love and accept them and my suffering self far healthier and better for me than running from challenging feelings into what can become toxic positivity. For me, it's been healthier to find books, videos and grief therapy that helped me fully feel, embrace, and befriend the full spectrum of my feelings. (A book that helped me a lot is called Healing Through the Dark Emotions: The wisdom of grief, fear, and despair.) Because pushing feelings away, even into something that can be so profoundly beneficial as meditation, only bites you harder in the end. (As I know too well, having run from excessive grief into denial, activity, and later sleeping pill dependence.) When I tapered off the medication (benzos) and began to fully face my trauma, losses, and griefs and fully feel and express my suppressed sorrow, rage, and fear then mourn those griefs, it became a beautiful and powerful experience, and was actually much easier and more satisfying than escaping into denial. (And yes, sometimes grief just sucks!) The waves in the video were very beautiful, and the narrator's voice was calming and lovely too.

Nothing like shaming ones sadness in a meditation. Yes loss and sadness is going to take away from our "positive energy". Someone who can control that...good for them. The meditation should be focused on giving yourself space to feel all of your feelings...but that's just me.

Although There’s part of this video that are good! But it is toxic to push someone to “be positive “ and spread positivity and love and joy ! When you have lost someone to death ! You can’t just switch a button to be a sunflower of sunshine. It’s important to allow feelings of loss and some of which are negative. In addition to grieving you now have to also bear the burden of spreading love and positivity ?

How is anybody supposed to meditate When the very meditation we are supposed to be concentrating on is interrupted repeatedly with freaking commercials? 😡 It makes this pretty useless. And no, I cannot pay for yet another subscription, unfortunately. It just sucks enormously that any kind of healthcare in this country is contingent on how much money you can give someone.
