- WHY CAR VIBRATES AT STOP SIGN, TRAFFIC LIGHT. DASH VIBRATES
If your car vibrates when you stop at stop sign or traffic light we will explain what most likely causes that. You will notice that your car will vibrate (especially automatic transmission) when you idle or stop at stop sign or traffic light when one of the engine mounts is bad. We often replace engine mounts at the shop and it is a common problem on older cars or higher mileage cars. On front wheel drive most of the time we start by checking the passenger engine mount. When the engine mount is bad it will not function correctly and it will cause vibrations. The vibrations will be transferred to the dash and it will feel like your dash is vibrating. There are many things that can cause your car to vibrate, but if there is nothing wrong mechanically check the condition of your engine mounts.

My compass has been doing this for the longest time & couldn’t figure out what it was now I know what to change thanks.
I replaced engine mounts and torque mount and transmission mount ...Here's what I did I replaced the torque mount .. while I was replacing the torque mount I noticed leaking From the passenger side engine mount which is a hydraulic mount..I tighten the torque mount all down Drove to the store and got a new hydraulic mount got back in the car and went home and put the new hydraulic mount in..I noticed while putting these mounts it's not exactly perfectly lined up when you take them out so you have to maneuver the engine just a little bit to get it in but I got them in and I'm still getting some vibration but not as bad but it's still noticeable.. My question is should I re-position the bottom torque mount because it was tighten down with the old worn out hydraulic Mount in place .. Or will it not make a difference ? It's been a few weeks and it's still making some vibration... i've already did the transmission mount a while ago I wonder if that went to.. You're talking about $300 worth of engine mounts now things have gone up in price..They're all under warranty now is there a wrong way to install the engine mounts because some of the transmission mount and hydraulic mount are they not always in perfect alignment when you install them It takes a little coaxing and maneuvering.. Also does anyone have the torque specifications for the bottom torque mounts ? My book doesn't have it I'm torque down to around 75 foot pounds both bolts is it right? Maybe by doing the top engine mount after I already did the bottom one ,put everything out of position so now the bottom torque mount is tightened in a different angle than it should be.. I know the transmission mount and the hydraulic mount are the two things that actually hold that motor in place The torque mount is really supposed to float am I correct?
you ever have any trouble with the Fiesta (2011 SES) with a vibration felt inside the car when first cranked at a idle in P, D or N that goes away once you start driving and does not come back when you stop at a light but returns after being parked all day or night?
Hey thank you for all the nice videos, specially the cruze Playlist.. I'd like to ask you if there's any way to install a kill switch on the chevy cruze?? I'd really appreciate that information, thanks
if the car is only vibrating when the brake pedal is press and the break is stiff. that may indicate a vacuum leak coming from the booster or a booster going bad.
I changed all the motor mounts and it still shakes and my cheach engine light is not on
Same tho...why’s that

Hi. I have problem with front bumper vibration. The rest is perfect not any vibration in different places, engine and his vibration are ok. When I touch bumper in the middle ( on the grill) like You have logo Ford is quiet, and when You release the hand is more loud and more vibration. This is from few days , earlier it started to vibrate on the sides of the front bumper. I didn't touch nothing there before. What could be the cause and what transmits the vibrations to the bumper ?? Car is Toyota Avensis T27 estate Diesel. Thanks.
Bro, I just changed all mounts of my Accord 2013 and still the vibration is still there. Any idea what's causing it? it only vibrates when at Stop.
Hi, I'm having the same issue and I just noticed something strange, besides vibrating at stop, it vibrates when I turn on the headlights and turning signal...when at stop light the vibrating is caused "I think" because the brake lights are engaged...as soon as I start driving... the vibrating stops...that is my diagnosis...now I have to figure out the reason...I have a new alternator and battery installed...so it must be some electrical issue...
@@MMStudiosUS maybe spark plugs?
@@labrittneymayberry1448
I'm thinking tht too. As I got a message p0305 cylinder 5 misfire
@@MMStudiosUS if sparks don’t work try the coil pack. I had to replace my coil pack and clean my throttle body after I replaced the mounts.
@@MMStudiosUS i have the same problem 2012 honda accord when im at a stop once i start moving it feels like it stops doing the vibration any tips i already replaced spark plugs and all mounts.
04 Mercedes E500 vibrate on Drive gear but the car is not moving because I hit the brakes. When I put in Park the noise goes away or in neutral no noise. Only on drive
Did you figure it out?
Thanks for the video
My ford focus 2015 always vibrating at rpm 1000 to 1500 only... after that its smooth. When it rpm is 1000 to 1500 it vibrates. What will be possibile problem
Did u find the problem?
Same
same on my mazda 2013
Sir I want to work with you please
Hello. what could be the reason that when you turn off the car there is a rattle metallic sound. but when I press the clutch and turn the car off, you can't hear anything. Its a Audi A4 B7 2006. 1.6
It could be motor mount
Thanks man 👍🙏
Mr.😂agua Man 😂😂😂
very very good
My 04/V6 Sonata started decelerating at high rpm, codes said misfires. Replaced plugs, wires, throttle sensor. Now it cranks right up, idles good, but in gear it sputters and won't accelerate!
Maybe ur transmission is slipping gears lol. Have u looked at how much transmission fluid u have in there?
Also if it sputters, have you checked camshaft position sensors and fuel injectors? Weird that u just went and replaced all those things without diagnosing first lol.
@@poopsie117 I had it looked at and the mechanic said it was the catalytic converters -he said I needed 2 new ones 😟
@@Animalfarm4481 ah thats probably gonna be expensive :/ not complicated but expensive, best of luck!
Slow down when you talk.
How do you tell someone some shit like that
@@anthonysmith8273 he probably wouldn’t tell him that in person but I too think he speaks too fast , it’s not meant to be rude it’s just a suggestion. I think his English is fantastic and easily understood though.
Slow video down. Works like a charm
😂😂😂
If you slow it down I cannot understand what he’s saying at all 😭
Can this problem only occur at idle?
You have same solution for every car vibration
Of course.. it's a ford!
I'm searching online to figure out why my Ford escape steering wheel and dash are vibrating when the clutch is put in drive and the air conditioning is on and the video that will help me will be a video where they're working on a Ford 🤦🏻♂️
What is it ??? I have the same issue with a Ford e150 2010!
Same!!!!
Ford Mazda same thing , both have Ford engines same components Depends what year.. is your foot on the break while it's in drive? With the air conditioning on your engine will shake more no matter what.. But it shouldn't be hugely noticeable if it is it's gotta be one of your mounts maybe bad material used in the mounts.. I'm having a similar issue with my Mazda I'm still trying to zero in on what's actually causing it could be the brand of mount maybe they use crappy rubber
My car toyota corolla 2010 vibrates only when I'm in drive at stop and turn the fan on, when I turn the fan off vibrations stop. If I let the fan on in drive at stop, by turning on the night light on the vibrations stops instantly. I have new alternator installed and checked for voltage, all good. I have replaced all 3 engine mounts plus the trans mount with brand new Toyota OEM. I also replaced the ignition coils and the spark plugs with new Toyota OEM. I have the body throttle cleaned nice with Toyota spray plate cleaner OEM, I also have the air sensor cleaned nice. It is something electrical that I miss? Car has 130k miles, new tires and re-balanced. My mechanics don't have idea what can be. Toyota dealer says that my engine and trans are perfect. All replaced OEM parts were torqued to the specs. Can anyone help me please? It may be the IAC valve???
If rpm is lower need a scanner setting rpm on drive gear
@ezellbroome6313nothing in his comment indicate any issue having to do with head gaskets, where’d u pull that one out of lool???
Lol of all those things youve had checked … is it not just ur AC compressor or serpentine belt?
@@poopsie117 have them replaced too, same issue
