Sorry I keep calling the piece that attaches to the phone a "magnet" but its a piece of metal the magnet is the part that mounts to your car.

Your phone is too low on the mount. It kinda blocks the use of your heat. Also you can put the metal piece on the inside of you phone case and stack one on top of the other for optional adjustment

It blocks the center dash. I don't like it. I'm getting the rennline mount which is installed behind the trim. Looks more OEM and it does not block the center dash or air vents.

Could it be Mounted upside down vs the way you mounted the bracket ? How has it worked for you so far ?

do these attach to magsafe?

They do not so what I did was order a mag safe metal plate. This way the magnet will attach to the mag safe plate. Then you are free to attach your phone via mag safe to it.
