So, the timing of the explosion makes sense, but the fire on the engine on the left never occured in the real time version, nor the hole on the left side. Maybe it changed a little because Alex left and the plane started a little later than planned?
Yes. Since Alex delayed the flight when he freaked out, the circumstances in how the plane exploded had changed as well, which is why the plane explodes much earlier after take off in real-time versus in the premonition. You can read more about it here: flight180explosion.blogspot.com/
Just like TWA800 (the real life event that inspired Volée Flight 180), the series of mechanical failures that caused the plane to explode had already started at the gate, before the doors had even been closed. The timing of the explosion was already determined (though the chain could have been broken if those involved had been more diligent about doing their jobs correctly), even though the exact point in the flight where it happened was moved up.

The candy is whoppers
moral of this video: don't forget that your not the only family that matters.
Nice job, I'm so obsessed with these movies. Wouldn't the outboard engine's fire extinguisher put out the flame and saved the people on board.
Fire extinguishers can fail.
