Cluade dies on the PC version actually because it is rated M. Due to PS1 limitations, the game has to downgrade a few contents of the original causing the intro to be modified, ending up being a T-rated game.
Few of the scenes are switched out for different ones ps1 had slightly more blurry images not to say that the PC version was not blurry in places still one my favorite live action videos for a opening segment of a video game more so that intensity
@@theobserver4214 Pretty sure that you can do that on PS1, simply by pressing UP the station changes. It's essentially the same game just the PS1 version obviously have poor graphics because it came out earlier but even that back then next to no one had a PC to run such a game so most of us played the PS1 version then years later tried the PC version. But I think that only the PC version have night and day cycles because I don't remember playing the PS1 at night. Might be wrong on that one it's been a while.
well keep in mind it may have been rated T for teen but it should have been M. they were just giving people a break to play 1 the most awesome games on the ps1
CJR Onetwentyseven Not really. The shaky polygons are due to the PS1 not being able to handle 3D all too well. It used LOW precision on the points that joined up faces. When the frame updates the points leap over quite a distance. THUS SHAKYNESS D:
Rage Quit It's like every game is made for PC, however I don't wanna think that. I love 90's consoles, and not so use to utilizing computers all to well.
Beside the definitely noticeable lower graphic quality there are less pedestrians and cars in the PSX version. Police chases are also more intense and complex on the PC. Emergency services are limited on PSX. Public transport like already stated is limited. There are PC areas that are inaccessible on PSX. The PSX town feels ALOT less alive compared to PC. I´ve had a PSX back then but was envious about alot of the further features present in my friends´ PC version when we did the direct comparison and I decided to get the PC version later. Never would go back. Perhaps RS did the same with GTA2 like they did with GTA1 and also removed even more like sounds to free up the limited PSX ram. I agree the PSX versions of GTA1 and 2 are definitely downgraded versions and not just "cosmetic only". Stay with the PC version when you can.
I love it when Claude Speed walks away alive

You are right but it is such a stupid reason because he should live in both regardless lmao. Very strange decision on their part.
I believe you
@@outerspaceman7534 Obiously he shouldn't live when it comes to R*, they have filmed his death for a reason. PS1 is just censored.
So basically, it's just censored?
That movie should be at the top of imdb list..

In PC Claude got shot but in PS1 he isn't dead
You forgot the Dreamcast port.
I know. Just didn't look further at the time. It's the same as the PC version but in higher frame rate.
Yes, and the best part is the radio station on this version seems to be very dynamic compared to the PC version.
The PC version is actually the most dynamic as you can change radio volume and radio stations

The dark skinned of the CD disk on Playstation had its references to..
Even PC Video Graphics are better = D
PSX was already an old console in 1999

En versión de Playstation no muere el protagonista y en versión de PC si muere

PS1 ♥
Windows PC Version Is Better Than PS1 Version
Dreamcast is second because the cutscene is in 30fps.
PS1 Is Real But PC Is Fake!!
PC
PC DAHA KALİTELİ
What's the difference it's the same game overall.
CJR Onetwentyseven No it's not. THE PS1 had no functioning trains. THE PC version did
