I always wait for several years to upgrade my phone. When i was on my own, I started on a Galaxy S5, to S7 edge, to a fold 3. And now I'm upgrading to a Fold 6. Can't wait honestly
@ylle45 I wouldn't know. I wasn't fond of that hinge gap in the Fold 3 and the 4 just seemed like more of the same. I got the 5 over the holidays and it seems to address that mechanical issue along with the screen brightness as well. I truly don't see myself getting this but everyone from previous generations should definitely consider the upgrade as well as newcomers who are interested in the foldable phone market.

The fact that you are still enjoying fold 5 means that samsung folds are actually a great experience, the trade in value of s24 ultra 512gb is very high right now and I did pay the fold 6 for just 700 usd after trade in is great value

Had the first fold, fold 2, and fold 3. Couldn't stand the narrow screen anymore so went back to the S line Ultra's. Finally a little wider display now so I'm going back to the fold 6. But it still needs to be wider. The aspect ratio for videos and photos are just not maximizing the hardware. When you open the fold and watch a video on RUclips for example, it's the same size as the s24 ultra full screen! Need to be wider.

If they put the s pen and ultra camera in foldables. Their weight would increase a lot from its previous model. They would never want their previous model lighter than their latest model. Best they should do is put the s pen slot and ultra camera in a new Fold Ultra model, and decrease the price of the original fold.
I thought to purchase fold 6 and pre reserved it as well I expected titanium frame and s pen will be included with the phone design but I got in the name of upgrade nothing so I am going to cancel the reserve
They said they didnt upgrade the display due to consumer feedback. We have beed asking for better cameras, a woder screen, an spen silo, upgraded cameras on par with the ultra, and a bigger battery. We have asked for this. They said they didnt upgrade the screen and hardware massivly due to consumer feedback. Fold 3, Fold 4, Fold 5, Fold 6 same cameras, same battery, little to no screen size improvement. They said it feels 3mm bigger on the cover screen. I rather have 3 real mm of extra screen size. For the price thier asking I should have everything under the sun. The trade in bonuses are no longer enough. Its tireing. Give me a galaxy s25 ultra that unfolds. That is what we want. They wonder why no one is upgrading anymore. No titianuim, nothing at all. I dont care about the thickness, i dont care about the weight, i just dont. Apps barely work on the zfold as it is due to the weird screen ratio. I feel like im holding a tv remote. At this point im giving up on the brand.

What about compatible charging adapter and cable... Every time I charge my phone it says use the fast charging cable and adaptor which came with the phone. I am sorry, but you didn't give us that. In the price of Galaxy Z Fold 6... We can buy and Electric Scooter with Adapter and charging cable.

Why the Z- Fold 6 camera quality is worst than s23 ultra in all wide, normal, and tele settings? I just tested it in the show room in the same time and the same objects.
Samsung hasn't learned a thing even after the huge failure of the Z Fold 5. The competition is already way ahead with bigger outer displays, lighter builds, and creaseless displays for the past two years. Samsung is still stuck in its comfort zone, too blind to see anything beyond Apple. When Apple releases its foldable phones, that will be the official end of Samsung's foldable line. They're too comfortable in their comfort zone
Yet ppl still buy the fold over other foldable phones!!! Apple would rather release a flip style phone over foldable as it would eat their ipad segment. Safe to say, Fold 7 or Fold 8 would be the perfect folding device

Z Fold 4.2, there are no improvements to the camera or battery and the cover screen is still narrow.
