Like, nothing stop players in usual PvE just run past everything up to objective too. But it's more fun to shoot things, that's for sure. This solo challenge ain't even that hard, the hardest part was to make myself to finally install Solo Run Mod.

If you spam your button your knife is binded to while holding heavy you extend the heavy animation by a very long time so you can keep the speed boost for a very long time
Fr I enjoyed the video but he just runs past everything to get to the next objective which imo isn't what I play a horde coop game for. Even if I wanted to solo, running past everything to win just doesn't seem that fun.
Love that the best way to deal with the boss is just to not deal with it lol. Also, with some weapons being shared to other classes, do you think the dueling sword would be a nice fit for this type of run too? I personally can 1 tap muties in the head on damnation, and that’s on my vet. I feel like it'd be an incredible fit for stealth zealot.
Knife there is mostly for extra movement on its heavy attacks, as a weapon dueling sword is much better imo, and with it's critical chance from blessings it is an option for stealth zealot for sure.

Yes, there are two of those i used for solo runs: www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/176 www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/177 If we are talking about gameplay features there are some more mods, i would mostly pick out Numeric UI (tells you how much ammo out of max ammo you AND YOUR TEAMMATES have), Spidey Sense (use it to show me disablers, cos game's engine sometimes brakes and makes them silent) and Custom HUD to move my Ult closer to the center of the screen. Damn, the list of mods is pretty big actually, ~15 a top of my head, i need to write it down somewhere.
It's not entirely about RNG, and even two chaos spawns wouldn't be a problem if I, as a player, didn't make a wrong decision of fighting them instead of running away. Flaming Nades might be very good, but this build already has flamer for crowd control. I see where you going with it - i used flamer so little that 3 flame nades might cover all the situations i needed a flamer for. But it forces me to go past throwing knifes and skip a lot of very good perks if i still wonna have the same build at the bottom part of the tree.
I am alone and don't have any teammates - at 1 Coherency you don't regen toughness at all, at 2 to 4 you regenerate it, with 4 coherency being the fastest.
Getting crits ability CD and backstab ability CD takes a lot of perks. It's not worth it at the end to take any toughness regen cos stealth is THIS broken.
so why bother even killing if you can just invis and run around other then killing potentially faster ragers in favor for slower bulwarks but i dont know the spawn rules for this game that well and would assume there are caps in place but overall and very good run and i may try my hand at doing this with zealot then trying to see if i could do it with other classes.
It is actually an easy challenge to do at Basic Damnation, it just took me like 4 tries, one of which, the first one, i didn't include in the video cos i wasn't recording it. I think it is better to have melee enemies over ranged ones to spawn, the rest is not that important because stealth drops aggro and makes melee enemies almost useless. Zealot is the easiest to do, then Vet (both have stealth abilities). One guy i know tried to do Solo Psyker (and he is good at that class) but it becomes much, MUCH harder due to not having stealth. Never heard of Solo Ogryn runs, I'd watch it myself. So yeah, definitely try this challenge out - it took me like one or two evenings from knowing nothing to completing Auric Maelstrom Monstrous.
I use two mods from Nexus for True Solo experience. You don't get any resources and experience from these runs tho, they are player-side only i assume.

Soloing Darktide means playing the game normally solo instead of abusing knife mobility and stealth.
I will try to do that later, but for now i need to learn the basics, and having stealth and knife mobility helps with it.

I dunno, toughness regen from stealth was enough for me, and Loner's regen is very slow anyway.
