Just from this video I can say that playing heroes is hell in this mode. Specialists can be a problem even in computer hands, but now they act really unpredictable, can dodge, use tactics and theyre still infinite.
I know I’m 4 weeks late but it isn’t hard to play as a hero. If you play well bile trolls die on spawn, ratling guns are meh at best (just spam fast firing weapons and rattlings always lose the trade overwhelmingly), assassins make a loud noise when pouncing and are very predictable / easy to shoot. The main thing is sticking together, these people are not sticking together and getting punished for it. It’s simple Vermintide fundamentals at a certain point.

yeah, they could have clutched it; I can't really remember but I think they might have back filled after someone rquit, so they spawned in on the bridge before event and were understandably confused/unaware; I was confused about them, too, as we can see in the clip.
Always a pleasure watching these. Been trying to get into Versus as a new player, but every lobby I'm in has very experienced players. Hard to get better, but still fun to watch others play well! Are these in dedicated lobbies or Quick Play matches? Can't seem to get Quick Play to have open lobbies, oddly enough.
@@BastiKuchen It doesn't work like Globadier's gas, sphere that appears is just for aim in his case. He works more like boomer from L4D (just less agile), so you can puke on whole U5.

Air-accelerate with W, slow down with S. Slight turning with mouse for directional changes. If the hero is far you want to press/hold W while going up already. Another thing is that your acceleration/deceleration rate is dependent on your FPS, so if you have frames per second capped it might help to uncap them. Against more experienced player you might experience getting skeet shot out of the air. Against them you either have to go with flatter trajectory, unusual angle of approach, or come from really far so they don't hear you.
Since i saw familiar name "not a friend" I'd like to ask if you think he is legit player or not, played against him few times and he seemed weird sometimes with 180 headshot turnarounds, i may be a noob as well, but still wana hear an opinion
whipping around to nail a special unit is just kind of a skill you get as you play the game, they all have unique and very loud audio cues that indicate when they're about to do their thing
I played with him multiple times and he's good and not cheating or whatever. It's nice that you're double checking and not just deciding he's aimbotting or smth, though. Big respect.
@@soiu66 I figured it out, in the beta you could see just the versus count but now it's integrated into the main game vermintide 2, but you are correct, it did peak at 24k the other day and I'm very surprised!
They're going to fix the hooks... it's just going to take a year or half. Just have to deal with it because people will say "it's just a game" or "git gud" unironically. It's just going to make this big, steaming pile of "community" that thinks it's okay to win by any means necessary. First, it's hooking under the map, then it's trying to justify wallhacks lmao.
This still looks so crazy unbalanced and unfun for heroes. How can they give the pack master such a tiny cooldown for grabbing? L4D never had a short cooldown for the grabbing infected for a reason

These games were quickplay; some full 4-stack, some with 2 friends, some solo queue.
