Trick Shot 2nd Edition is probably the best sports game ever made. Somehow it's gotten virtually no coverage. Stadium - A small euro game. It's ugly, but plays well. You are making a sports stadium and trying to get star players and fans. 8Bit Stadium - Inside the weird 8bit Box, there is a game called Stadium. It's a team vs team game of mini games. Olympics. It really gives me the feeling of playing the old NES game. Legend of Korra - Basically wizard dodgeball. However the retail only has 2 teams, the ks has like 11. One of the worst kickstarter to retail games. Bat Flip - A unique take on baseball, with no dice. You smash up 2 teams to make your deck. Each team has unique elements. Cribbgolf - This is cribbage meets gold. And there is a few different versions out there, and rulesets. But I like it better than regular cribbage, as you have a board and hazards to contend with. Dino Dunk - The best basketball themed game I've played. And one of my favorite dexterity games. Duffers - A golf deckbuilding game. Not perfect, but does some things clever over the normal deck building games. And it's usually cheap to find. Race! Formula 90 2nd edition - Dunno if you were including racing games. This one is by far the best (though the rulebook sucks). Set & Match - Got this because of a previous video you did. And it's fantastic. I did get the XL version, but we found it too big. I would love to get one inbetween the sizes. Skull Canyon Ski Fest - I pretty fun skiing game. Sort of Ticket to Ride ish. Updated rules are a must.
Great list and if you are looking for the greatest sports game ever made, look no further than Trick Shot 2nd edition. Don't know how hard it is to come by over in the U.K. but if you appreciate sports, especially ice hockey, Trick Shot is sublime.
First and Goal is so good and I literally never see anyone talking about it. It's amazing how much they made a board game feel like an actual football game. Everything from onside kicks to audibles and flags thrown done with dice and cards.
I remember that one of my school mates was the best Tipp-Kick Player in the world at the time was molding his customized figures to stay up to the challenge. Great to see this game mentioned here.
Possibly one of your most x-rated reviews yet. Games not what I expected , well done. Love to try the flick tennis. I can't imagine what you are like shouting at a bad driver. 10/10 .
I agree with a couple of games on this list, but you REALLY need to get a copy of Techno Bowl.. I think it would give Blitz Bowl a run for its money at the top of your rankings!
Another brilliant video. The Football Game is also a very fun game of proper football with managers that can be sacked, form markers, a transfer market, dice rolls, and some very colorful events. There are UK copies in the BGG market for 10-15 quid, which is a steal considering copies in the USA cost $75+.
Tipp-Kick, 1st & Goal, Battleball … played. Never heard of the rest and I’ve been playing games for 45 years. Weirdly fascinated by the monkey tennis game.
As a lazy bastard and ignorant twat thanks for this list. And I agree completely about Blood Bowl, awful ruleset, yet I can't stop playing it for some reason. Shame Blitzbowl is so hard to get everywhere except US. GW business decisions are incomprehensible.
Holy Fuck: Affentennis? Ultimate Warriorz? Tipp Kick? You are a god! These ARE great games. And Tipp Kick *IS* better than Subbuteo. All of us Ameritrash gamers kept our copies of Battleball, so we all know that one. The model for Set and Match is a bit similar to an older Goldsieber game called Tennis Masters. Tennis Masters is HARD and involves flicking a tiny bit of lint with a Tipp Kick style raquet flippy dude. It takes a little too much skill to learn to hit. As to the game *YOU* need to look for: World Cup! (I’ve only played the original to death). It is a full evening thing at 2-3 hours, but you play the entire World Cup, with each match being an exchange of cards. It is so weird, because it is a long and fairly strategic game that STILL has us shouting at each other like Soccer fans.
Nice vid. Been wanting to try Blitz Bowl but the non-UK sales thing is puzzling. I'm a fan of Blood Bowl Team Manager which is way better than the original Blood Bowl and even fun for none sports fans. Also want to shout out Wembley, which may be very, very dated but brings back great memories.
Hmm guess my comment got removed. Super Ace Tennis is another quite fun dexterity game you can play with anyone. Plays like fleas where the flea is your tennis ball and you flick the tennis vall over the net with the pawn.
Just wanted to shout out for Plaay sports games, in particular, thier wrestling game Face to the mat and also, thier football(soccer for us people) games are great fun, can be played solo if you're a lonely person like me🥲

Couldn’t agree more 👏🏻 easily in my top 3 games I own.
I second this Trick Shot is top tier. Very good push your luck dice chucking

I was lucky enough to pick up Battleball back in the day and it's a legit great game all around. Nice pick!

Zoo Ball is a hit with the kids...nice to see it get a shout...pitch is made out of 1960s Space Race wool tho...deffo needs an iron 🦁⚽🏟️😆

Techno Bowl is fantastic. It deserves to be back in print.

Slapshot is one of the best hockey party games out there.
Haven't played it but I've heard that Trick Shot (hockey game) is quite good.
Great game and best hockey game. Second edition fixes some minor rules issues.
Nice one cheers fella, bringing more bits we weren't familiar with to our attention. I wont play any football game unless it features Gillingham.
Commiserations
We love Fozzy Football. Fun shuffleboard style American football game that uses an app to track time, down and field position.
Tipp-Kick, 1st & Goal, Battleball … played. Never heard of the rest and I’ve been playing games for 45 years. Weirdly fascinated by the monkey tennis game.
Great list mate.
Never got any further than blow football.
Kept passing out.
We do enjoy Set & Matxh, picked up a used copy upon your recommendation.
Crunch time Basketball is pretty good IMO

Interesting list....Feld kids game? When is the $200 queen games version coming out?

There was a dice driven animal jiu jitsu game I have been looking for for years
Have you played electric football yet?? (Or was that the one you didn't wanna mention)
Yep, some of what you showed today IS weird, but I have to agree, some. of it does appear compelling. As always, maintain the rage, please.
Looks like the "Renovation Games" "to do" list for the next decade

I have Wembley and it’s sucks…was my Dads copy when he was a kid so I can’t really torch it. Maybe if my gas bill goes up again…

A few months ago I learned about "Dice Baseball" being popular in US, since it's not a thing in EU, is it popular in UK?
Nope
How do you stand up in a horizontal position?
Ask your mum…

You are welcome!
Thanks!
👍🏻🎉🥳
Ever played Baseball highlights?
Yes but it’s popular so didn’t make the list
💩💩Blood Bowl.
No love for StreetSoccer / Champions2020 ? Maybe they don't deserve it but if it's the first time hearing about it, I say it's worth checking out.
