I totally do the same thing (doing it right now because I am trying not to retwist until my wedding day) but i will add a bit of Hick's Transitions Edge pomade (I got that from ChescaLocs as a recommendation). and it works WONDERS for laying down the "peasy" parts. My edges are quite thin...so I don't even have many locs around the front but it gets so frizzy. I love your styles! Long time admirer here :)
You might want to start putting your name on your pictures because someone is using your image on FB group dreadlocks to promote their loc services just an FYI
How often do you retwist? I have only been loced for a year now and I am thinking I am retwisting too often. I retwist about every 8 to 10 weeks or less. Also with the color of your locs how ofter do you color as well?
Imani Tolbert I color every 6 -8 weeks. I retwist my hair every time I wash which is every two weeks. It's never harmed my hair. Check out my video "to twist or not to twist"
Why sweetie I use water to moisten ur locz instead of oil?Never thought to do hair this way with tha brush,I thought those dayz was over with 22 yrz ago.Ur very beautiful n continue with those great videos.
Hey as someone who works out regularly, how do you may maintain your locs while in the gym? my hair is soft so my locs get really frizzy really quickly
I am a new subbie as of today :-) How often do you retwist? My hair is thicker than yours and I still haven't found the perfect gel to hold a retwist. I also admire your color. I'm nervous that the texture of my locs will change if I color it.
cocomint26 I retwist my hair every two weeks when I wash it. In ten year I haven't found a gel that holds my hair beyond a few days. Frizz is inevitable.
I have the same issue with my hair. I was using a black mesh bun cap when my hair was black. You just showed me how to do the bun. Love it
