Imagine Winans working his ass off all year to put together a pretty damn good year in the minors, finally get to the majors, get shelled, and even pitching ninja said you're not very good. 😂 Dude, that's hard.
Haha--I know. I hate crapping on guys. But he had to come away from that game knowing he wasn't very good yesterday--I didn't say anything he didn't think. lol. My guess is Hunter Brown wasn't happy with his outing yesterday either. :)
Love miller and his stuff. Crazy how over powering he can be but with the trend of how pitchers have been dropping as of late. I'm not going to be surprised when they announce his arm fell off.
Phils commentators Kruk and McCarthy were talking about ya tonight and how entertaining and informative this channel is. Thats how I found ya. PS Phils announcers are the best 🤘
Also, I'm really happy to see you becoming an influence in the MLB. I've been following your channel for a little while now, hands down my favorite channel when it comes to pitching. I hope you get more success and keep enjoying doing this for a long time!
I think pitchers are going to turn into the running backs of baseball. Shortened careers (and potential earnings) as modern strategy runs their bodies into the ground at an early age.
Regarding the talk about the A's trading Miller. It just doesn't make sense. The A's are a joke now, but they don't plan on being terrible forever and especially not after they move. They have Mason Miller under team control through 2029. Presumably he is part of a future where they intend to actually be competitive. You don't just dump a hyper talented player with 6 years of control because you're not competing right now.
@@kazen5907 They were above .500 as recent as 2021 and they had back to back 97 win seasons in 18/19. They've been the playoffs 6 times since 2012. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Yes, yes the level of competition can not be fair for AAA, AA, A teams after they are divorced from their Major affiliate. Hey Ninja, I'm curious if you'll start covering less velo/spin and more accuracy/selection with the recent injuries. I'd like to see less emphasis on velo/spin, personally. This 100+ mph stuff is less exciting, nowadays. I want to see how pitchers can win without blowing people away.
I mean, me too, but there's like 4 of them - and even the best tend to get shelled every once in a while. Look at Bryce elder for the braves - dominant for half a year, all star pitching with a fastball maxing out at 92, but then he fell off a cliff, and now he's in AAA.
Nope. I'm going to keep covering what I cover. I've always focused on both. It's not like Shane Bieber was a flamethrower or had outrageous spin, he's a pure pitcher...and he still is getting Tommy John. Kyle Hendricks is a pure pitcher, not a flamethrower...I regularly feature him (but he's got a 12 era this year). 100 mph stuff will always be exciting as will pitchers who get it done other ways. I'm featuring the filthiest stuff I see every day. Ranger Suarez didn't throw gas, he's featured today. Whatever pitchers are successful will get featured.
TIL Wyatt Langford can catch up with a fastball. He damn near turned 104 into a double down the RF line.
The Miller's are taking over pitching haha

Yeah, but at least he wasn’t as bad as Hunter Brown
Winans’ problem was that he didn’t have his slider, so he threw like 50% changeups, and the Mets sat on it.
Mason Miller looks like the 2nd coming of Goose Gossage. I really wish he would get a chance as a starter again. He has a Nolan Ryan level arm.
Love miller and his stuff. Crazy how over powering he can be but with the trend of how pitchers have been dropping as of late. I'm not going to be surprised when they announce his arm fell off.
That's it right there. That's that 104 right there baby, ways to go right there baby, that's it.
Get this guy on a real team
Yeah, the A's should trade Mason Miller ASAP before he blow out his elbow later this year.
Fortunately for Mason Miller the A's are Not going to be in need of a closer very often.
Love the A's and hope Mason does not get injured

102mph fb to a 88mph slider with horizontal movement is wild 😳
Who should I pick up in fantasy baseball that’s playing a bad team
I was watching the pirates game and i caught them using your ripper nickname, glad you saw it too
Mason Millers picture is next to the definition of Nightmare At-bat
Jesus, that Miller fastball looks like a laser.
It’s not about how hard you throw but about control, secondary pitches, mixing your pitches, and being cerebral
Says the guy that hasn't stood in a box facing 100 mph. 😅
literally every scout would disagree with you but okay 😂
0:48 I was at that game I am a Braves fan and it was fun but not so fun seeing a 16-4 loss
Sounded like Kruk approved of the ripper nickname.
Whats your thoughts on Yariel Rodriguez for the Jays
Just coming back to this video miller is still on the team and has a broken finger
Tommy John on deck. They're sacrificing these dudes. Let em use substances and let's have an era of amazing crazy pitching
mason miller is a closer now? looks ilke nolan ryan pitching
The A’s are better than you think ! Their bullpen is lights out ! And JJ Bleday coming on!
I really want to see a full healthy season from Mason Miller. Dude throws nasty stuff

Free Bauer!
Only 21 pitchers have thrown 103 since 2008
I feel like I'm getting tricked into watching more than just 5 pitches 😂
Watch the highlights of him closing the Yankees game - awesome

Rangers have pretty good relations with the A's office. Miller would look good in a blue hat, js.

Tell that to Aroldis Chapman who's been doing it for 15 years.
