I am a student at Banff academy and some busses that the school has are from Stagecoach, exactly like these.
Yesterday, I was on the Double Decker from Stagecoach, (I think the fleet number was 1169) and we were in the bus parking about to get a ride home, but then the steering wheel broke and all the other busses from behind had to reverse to get out of the bus parking 😂

Yes these are the ones that go through Banff. That would have been 11169 (fleet numbers are 11161 - 11175).

These sound identical to the Belfast Glider buses. Except the Glider buses are full Hybrid and do not have Voith transmission.

These are far better than full hybrid versions imo. Especially for the 35 as it’s 4 hrs long and mainly on 60mph roads.

These are shockingly crap busses for the 35, the B9rs previously used were much better suited and to be honest there wasn’t much wrong with them

The B9Rs were having reliability issues and were generally past their sell by date. I agree that these are definitely the wrong type of vehicles for the 35 though. Should have been B11Rs like the 10 has.
