I do not have a York super squat or York leverage squat machine Having used other Supersquats or Leverage squat machines, I like the Rogers Athletic Squat Pro better…simulates true squat form better That being said, each squat machine has something different to offer
We had this at gold's. Absolutely loved it. Have you used the new one?? The XT? There's another set of loading pegs right inline with your shoulders. They say it's a 1:1 ratio. Put 225 on it and it's the same as 225 on a bar. Weight wise.
I’ve never used the XT. When I purchased this one I didn’t get the XT because it was $700-1000 more just for having an extra set of loading pins. It’s a cool idea, but wasn’t worth the extra $$$
Squat #’s are probably going to be around 50% of what you can do on this I have a lot of barbell squat videos on my RUclips channel that you can look at for reference My squats aren’t as strong as they once were…mostly due to bodily issues
Which squat machine do you like best. This one. York supersquat. Or York leverage squat? Good videos

Looking to get one of these how well has it translated to your standard squat? 850 on this means you must have a pretty serious squat id assume.

Do you feel it's a good investment in one?
Depends a lot of what kind of space you have + what your goals, needs and budget are.
