A Leone - Morricone wannabe western that got lost in tradition, transmission, and much more, but still it's better than many of the resent low budget westerns flowing the market.

Actually the movie title uses "forche" which is "forks," Not "scaffolds.. "Scaffolds" in Italian is "Ponteggi." Unless, the title is used as slang of that time?
Re at about 59:45,they messed up horribly. You can see the shadows casted of the cameraman and the recording equipment. 😔 Don't get me wrong, but the movie still held my attention although sone of them seemed stage actors with some inauthenticies, including accents.
These movies are all the same. Everywhere they go on horseback is with the horse running wide open. In real life real people did not punish horses like that.

I don't get it..50:00 bigger than thin man with white suspenders, slight beard.. gets shot,,drops..the same guy ,appearently a twin, gets caught while " sneakin around outside" ..??
These westerns make the defenders look stupid ,who would leave the safety of a house with good cover to run in the open and shoot Even the Directors were foolish
I like westerns because I like to view those majestic canyons and the wild desert and the virgin hills it takes ones breath away
especially the smell of the dead bodies dropped all over the place
