- The plaintiff says she and the defendant met as teens and were best friends until the defendant began dating her boyfriend, the co-defendant. She’s suing because she claims the defendant’s boyfriend smashed her car windows and caused a crash after she tried to protect her friend. The defendant says the plaintiff tried to run him over multiple times and hit him. He’s countersuing because he had to miss work because of it.

Yes, it’s okay to change the dynamics and maybe you don’t hang out with them as much, but completely cutting off the relationship is weird.
The first thing an abuser will do is completely isolate you from your loved ones so that you’ll be completely dependent on them.
You also have friends that match your single life and not necessarily good to be around when you’re in a relationship.

Unfortunately, friends who choose to stay in abusive relationships are liabilities; many women get killed because they chose to defend a "friend" that involved them in their toxic relationship; abusive men see bf as the enemy and will attack them before attacking their partners. There's a viral TikTok video of a girl who cautions women who get involved with "friends" like her. Her sister got killed while trying to defend her best friend. The women will always choose their abuser and won't even testify for them if their partner harms them as she did here.
I literally just watched a story yesterday about a mother of 6 killed by her friends abusive boyfriend. And the abused friend is alive. He kidnapped her to go look for his girlfriend and killed her when they couldn’t find her.

The first time was in college so I stopped talking to her for years until she asked me to be her friend again & the second time was about a year ago. I couldn’t do it anymore. The defendants boyfriend will end up isolating her from everyone she knows. I get the sense that he is very controlling, insecure and violent. That very friend, that just pleaded for their friendship, the one that she ignored when she tried to make the effort to get to know the boyfriend, the same one that they just laughed at, will be the one that either has to try and get her to see the red flags, has to run to her rescue, help her fight him to get away and/or the one to (God forbidding) find her body.
I hope that girl defendant watches this episode about ten times! Life is going to be very hard for her if she has a baby with him; she is going to have many years of misery. One night out, that is how he acts; he sounds controlling. Some people leave and do not jeopardize themselves and their property. A acquaintance of mine is like the defendant 😖 It seems if she enjoys a chaotic relationship. Not only domestic violence but she gets crazy with the girls that her man cheats on her with 🤨 I was pepper sprayed earlier this year breaking up a fight between her and one of the girls... So energy draining.
Been going on for years. Got s several kids not with any of the dads, continuously is putting these men before it goes little ones. They message me often just even for basic needs 💔
