I had to make a hard decision to evict a woman due to her kids because she called me every single day for an entire year to come fix something that the kids broke. I had bur-bur carpeting in the unit and it cost $1300 for a two bedroom 770 sqft and her kids ripped the carpet up and I had to keep her deposit and she still owed $600. The kids even put a dent in the bathtub. It was terrible. She never watched the kids. :(

Exactly, I’m not lying for no “friend” especially if it can harm me in the end. The landlord can think logically and say - hmmm, why does this other girl let her two kids stay there with her friend, that’s one cps call! Then she could end up being investigated for possible abandonment or negligence. The only friend I question is the defendant bringing the plaintiff into the lie.
