Cool color match! I wrinkle coated mine too, but in Black. I made sure to sand the letters really good before I painted so it would be nice and shiny when the letters were sanded again after the paint dried. Makes the red Magnecor plug wires really pop.
I had the Magnecor wires on my old Miata. I think we are going to do a COP conversion soon for our Miata. Stay tuned!
I can see the paint spraying over onto the car. Good thing it's about the same color:)
Typical spray paint from a can doesn't carry as far as you think.

i did my 1.6 the trick with the resed letters is to paint them then cover with pva glue which peals out after painting
Good tip. Those valve covers are definitely harder to paint because of those letters. Thanks for watching.

..._don't show this"... Brandon starts the video with the clip, that was funny! The cover looks great, I thought it looked powder coated and sure enough you said it too. I was wondering if you would clear coat it but no doubt the look would change and it looks sick! I'm stoked on this build, the miata is gonna rip!
You aren't supposed to clear wrinkle paint. I don't know what happens, I just know you aren't supposed to do it. Thanks for watching, JC!

Dude, use aluminum brightener next time! To clean that valve cover takes 5 min with no brushing!

How do you remove the air vents??? I’m missing one and want to know how to remove one in case I find something at the junkyard. 🤘Thanks in advance!
I see and answer every comment on every video so don't ever worry about if I'm going to see it. The vents remove in a specific way. Take off the waterfall and you will see what I mean.
How did you end up with a missing air vent???
Apparently, they break easily, but I've never had that issue 🤷♂️

Where to start...kiss da wife, awesome participation...make her her own shirt...just 2...auction off 2nd shirt at end of miata build... she wears the other each vid, like you...professional... oven cleaner when cleaning motor, then silicone lube, which is absorbed somewhat into metal, then follow your steps...if the missus does another clean on car body, she will see more " issues" leading to more vids...as well, watch every Miata vid you can find...info n fun...keep turning that wrench...one love
