    I have rather suddenly found myself in need of seeing someone do a review on pens for Bible marking. This was awesome! All laid out ahead of time and we can see with our own eyes what does what. Also, I loved that you showed the packages of the pens as you talked about them so I could get an "eyes on" for shopping! Thank you so much. This was invaluable to me.

      Awesome, I am glad it was helpful. I’ll be doing another video like this very soon with more pens and highlighters that I’ve recently purchased and they’re really good so I am looking forward to doing it. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to it soon. Thank you so much for watching and offering your feedback. Your support is more appreciated than you know! 🥰

    Great review. I use the Pigma Microns for notes and Sharpie Smear Guard pens for highlighting. They have very minimal bleed through and have a chiseled tip for accuracy. I use the Sharpie Gel Highlighters sometimes. However, they are hard to keep on target when marking/highlighting verses. Keep up the great videos. I just recently discovered your channel and I am watching all of the videos as time allows. Thanks !!

      @BibleBelievingChristian  4 года назад +3

      Dawn Richardson they’re good pens. I use the pigma microns most in my Bibles but have used the micro-lines a lot in journals and notebooks. It’s always fun testing out new pens to see what works in a Bible. But the nice thing with the micro-lines is there’s a lot of colors and the fact it has a little case. That’s super handy. I haven’t tried the pilot frixions yet but I’ll have to order a few cause no bleed through would be awesome! Thanks for mentioning them. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it very much sister

    Always such thorough and detailed reviews. I prefer the dry highlighters or just regular sharpie highlighters. But I do mostly underlining in my Bible, with a straightedge, and I use the thicker microns for those. I heard when the gel highlighters get hot, they melt. My problem with them is that they were good for a while, but eventually dried out and sort of rolled up off the paper. So I won’t use them for those two reasons. Thanks for the review.

    Great review. I use the long, capped Inkjoy prns for marking, but has not decided on a good marker. I yoinks I really like the Sharpie fell, in traditional yellow. Thanks for the help.
    PS... Just bought a gorgeous Nelson NKJV...in PURPLE, and I got the turquoise paperback Crossway RSV, you recommended...as well as a turquoise TruTone one. It’s silly, I know, but I use matching Inkjoy, or bic Atlantis pens to mark in them, 🥺💜

    A thorough, well-explained review. I assume the Pigma "Bible"markers are identical to other classically-branded Pigmas. Love 'em for art, never used in my Bible but will try. I have used Mr. Pen gel highlighters and I like those. Will try Pentel 8... sometimes a texture variety could be nice. Your camera work was good too.

      Yes the pigma microns are the same style as the regular ones and they’re great for Bibles and I also love Mr Pen products as well, they have a great variety of pens and highlighters. I show quite a few pens and highlighters in my video of the NKJV interleaved Bible and I do show some Mr Pen ones in it. Very good subject of Bible marking pens. You would think that in today's world that a manufacturer would actually come out with a true non-bleedthrough pen.

    • @BibleBelievingChristian
      @BibleBelievingChristian  6 лет назад +1

      C David exactly! With all the technology in the world you’d think they could come up with something or to be able to make thinner paper that the ink won’t affect as much. I get a lot of folks asking what I use so I thought it’d be a good video to make. And people like you that are in a different country often find it hard to find certain pens.

    • @cdavid6437

      I can get many things from a company by the name of Lazada. They claim that they are the Amazon of Asia but I really doubt that because anything from the "WEST" is triple price so Amazon is cheaper even with the outrageous shipping. But they do meet the needs of a lot of the product made in Asia overall.
      I so wish all my brothers and sister would be more thankful for living in the West. Things are so much cheaper there.

      B. Willemsen that is awesome, thank you so much. I will forward this to him and he will be appreciative and will check into that. Also, I don’t know if you’ve ever checked out Christianbook.com but they offer decent international shipping rates so if you wanted to get an idea of how much something would cost you can add it to the cart and then scroll down the page until you see the shipping and returns link and then go to the shipping link and scroll down to your country and it will show you the shipping cost for everything in your cart. It’s an awesome website with excellent prices so it might help you save some money on Bibles and Christian books and they also have lots of other neat stuff as well so check them out, that’s where the majority of my Bibles come from, I buy a lot from them.

      @@BibleBelievingChristian I have actually wondering about that very one! 🙌 I have it on my Tecarta Bible app and it looks very interesting. I anxiously await your review! I have both the regular and large print of the Holman NKJV Study Bible and though I really like the large print, it's harder for me to handle as I only have 5% use of my left hand as a result of a post-op neglect (but that's a story for another time!) 😉 This brings me to another question...what's your opinion of Bible apps vs the hard print? Actually I welcome any and all to weigh in on this question! 👍

    • @BibleBelievingChristian
      @BibleBelievingChristian  5 лет назад +1

      pianist4him52 large print editions are definitely a lot heavier and harder to use unless you sit at a table. I do most of my reading sitting in bed with an over the lap desk which is helpful for the larger Bibles...I have tons of regular books on e-readers but for the Bible I just love a physical copy of it. The only one I use a device with is the Tyndale Filament Bible because that one has a bunch of digital content which is absolutely awesome and plus it can be updated too so when they publish an update for any of the Study helps it will be neat. That one is an awesome Bible for digital content and the actual Bible is very portable. I’d love to see them do the same type of thing with other translations...sorry to hear about your hand. I am adding you to my daily prayer list, I hope that is ok.

    I personally don’t like the Micron pens as I find the tips don’t last long and are tiring to use across the page. I prefer the Bic Velocity pens and the Inkjoy pens. I have the Inkjoy pens in colors and black and the Bic Velocity in black only. My hand cramps up pretty bad so writing smoothly across the page is very important to me. I like your idea of swatching in the Bible-I haven’t tried that before. Thanks for sharing this information. 📝🖋📖
