Definitely Micron for me!! Archival ink is so important! I had a Bible get ruined because by pens interacting with sweat?? or something... made it unreadable!
"Equipping women . . ." - Hey, we 'right brained' guys like this stuff, too! This is an important topic, as I have ruined, or at least made a mess of, several bibles in the past. Great advice and well presented!
idk if I missed it, I tried to skim back through the video but I was curious about which pen doesn't smear after you highlight over it immediately. The issue I am having is I color code my notes with my highlighter to match the passage highlight color/ and the pen smears everytime.
If you are just wanting a pen that is supposed to be great with highlighters, then maybe try Zebra Sarasa Mark On pens. They are designed to be used with highlighters though I don't think they have many colours. I haven't personally used them, but have heard a lot about them. Hope that helps...if you are still looking for something.
Fine ball point pens works well also
Thank you! Very helpful!

pilot g2 or g-tec has also archival ink
I use the pilot Juice in .38 , my bible is the ESV interleaved edition and they are just perfect in my bible
Thank you for the video.
I just got the Mr. Pens fineliners and unfortunately they bleed through my bible page. Maybe I have a different pack?
If you’re like me and have a heavy hand, invest in a pencil board to place under your pages OR use sticky notes to place on the page you’re reading.

HA! Thanks John! I am glad it helped!
I am looking for a decent .02 mm black pen... I have tried pilots but these keep skipping.... preferably gel... any suggestions...?..
The unibol is great, but the lid kept falling off ti;ll I lost the pen. Need one that writes just as great but sturdier lid and clip.

I had done a bunch of beautiful journaling in the Frixion pen. Left my Bible in the car and the heat erased all my work :( Be careful using those.
Thank you.

I have heard the friction pens fade when heated and if you leave your bible in the car on a warm day your note would fade (?) I have not tried it.
