Is not about a man or woman at all
It is about having the right person doing the job important to the nation and specially understanding what they stand for at such a high level of office. Not sure we know any of these about her suddenly rise to the rank with no required backgrounds and out of incompetenecies of others and kept on the position because of behind the screen deal with Sunak. Otherwise she would have gone right after when previous prime minister. Not cretising her doing that job but questioning if she should be there in the first place.

She was often leading proceedings it seemed... a totally daunting prospect for most but handled in a way that never made me feel nervous for her at any moment.
Looking a bit like Anne Boleyn and being near a sword for an hour, may have made her nervous though...

"These people fail to represent the nation or its sovereignty, but their own political interests. " I dont think you understand her role - she represents the king' interests on a number of fronts, and they probably talk every day. (Okay, she should have said this here!)

The Coronation was very memorable. I think all participants should have somber expressions at a Coronation. [ my opinion ] ___ Penney is right up there with Queen Elizabeth the Second as far as giving the impression that she takes her job very seriously. Thank you!
