I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses,
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear, the Son of God discloses
And He walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice is so sweet the birds hush their singing.
And the melody that He gave to me within my heart is ringing.
And he walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known.
I’d stay in the garden with Him, though the night around me is falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe His voice to me is calling.
And He walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known;
None other has ever known.
Exquisite rendition. Nearly brought me to tears.
Exquisite arrangement, wonderfully executed and draws one closer to God.
Sharon's accompaniment is never too much, rather it enhances the voices as they sing this prayer.
God bless you all
I know this song well, but it is rarely heard now here in the UK. The soloist, John, has a superb voice and sings with excellent control, yet retains the sense of conviction which raises the whole thing above a mere musical exercise. The choir sing with equal mastery. The accompanists add considerably to the song without becoming over-prominent. Thank you - a great blessing.

This soloist, John Arnold, is one of my favorites. Please have him sing more. I was first introduced to him on the song "He never said a mumbling word" Very powerful! I enjoy these You Tube Clips you provide. I Loved Jay, may he RIP and Sharon is a tremendous pianist! John on the pipe organ is good too. Thank you and May God bless you all.
