For mount outski one of best t2's that i used has to be the Honda Integra / (DC2) cuz i have a tune that lets me get a 3:12 (edit it was 3:12 but i recently got 3:10.500) on Down hill but the actual average for it was 3:14, 3:16 I'm rn working on its successor the DC3 and so far its having no problems with hitting 3:16 with a similar tune (edit) the blue number are my times not timestamps :) oh and its specifically for mount outski I haven't tested it on any other map
The DC2 is decent for T2 at the moment and I think is in a good place. It's roughly around the same level as the EK9, but slightly better. Prior to 1.2, however, it had its infamous telatune (other games call this a "crake tune") where it had stupid levels of grip that let it keep up with mid-range T3s AND totally shat on every other T2 in the game at that point). Some neglected cars like the Alcyone SVX still have their telatunes intact though, for now.
The 3000GT/GTO is pretty much the epitomy of a "normal fish in a small pond". When it was a T3 car, it was a nice-looking yet bloated land barge, but demoting it to T2 would have made more sense if it was still boaty yet was more powerful for T2 standards (I expect the Aristo to be like this; torquey and maybe a niche C1 pick for us sedan fans, but boaty). Don't know what it's like for the other ex-T3s like the S15, S2000, Z33, Pulsar, and Chaser, though. EDIT: This car got put back in T3. It's not terrible anymore, I think maybe around R32 GT-R levels, but it's certainly off-meta I think.

well if its fulfilling the purpose you bought it for then I doubt you've wasted any money. But me personally I'm not fond of the performance the z31.

The 3000gt is now worth 4 mil yen and is a tier 3 car from hearing for a evo 3 veteran like you im sure that this is a good car now.

For ichi i would say rhe quattro is better, for otsuki it has to be the fd2r, for c1 the gt3000.
