Brandon Morin No. Math like this is not subjective. 10 volts is 33% more than 7.5 volts. And 7.5 volts is 25% less than 10 volts. In this case whoever corrected it to 25% is wrong in correcting the poster. Seems to me whoever corrected him must be fun at parties.
I used this method to my son's "Silverlit Follow Me Crossroad RC" and it works like a charm hehe :-) I could only find a number on "speech" chip and that mentioned max. 5.5V, so I guess I am sticking to 4 reachables, disposables probably get to high voltage... Fun, thank you!
Just wonderful, I've been looking for "get my car faster" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Vabrielbey Vehicle Verifiability - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.
from the schematic you can clearly see that microcontroller voltage is clamped to 2,7v by a zener diode and resistor network regardless of the battery voltage and the weakest part is actually h brodge used to drive the motors, because that is the part exposed to the full battery voltage h bridge is either 2 pair of transistors, or an integrated circuit you could buffer the h bridge by adding higher current bridhe on the output of the oryginal one , or just after the controller ic outpur
I guess you found that circuit from that microcontrollers datasheet that I mentioned in my video, but you should know that that circuit does not represent my situation. In my case the motor is directly connected to the microcontroller pins and the H bridge components are missing for this car. Good observation though and that is true in case if this car would have a H bridge.
my microcontroller looks like the following txm written on the left two sets of numbers on the right upper number is 8D423T lower number is ZYK52AC i cant find the datasheet help pls i wanna upgrade my toy grade rc car
If you connect a 3.7V lipo instead of three 1.5V regular batteries (total 4,5V), the car will go slower, because the voltage is lower, if we suppose that the batteries are charged. You have to increase the voltage above 4,5V, to increase the speed, but under 6V to avoid damaging the car.
Theoretically that is possible. Not the best approach, but possible. Only you have to have a resistor with the necessary resistance and power rating, because it will conwert that excess power into heat.

It's 33.3% more power if you know to do math

No it is 25% if you actually work it out
Its both 25 percent and 33 percent depending on what you devide your bottom number by.before or after what you add

I should do this to my cheap awd drift subaru by putting a battery in the front, it would help it alot if I had 5 batteries instead of 4

What about the additional weight of the 4th battery which causes more strain and heat to the motor?
You can just take a screwdriver, take off the car body, and plop the battery in there and secure it back up.
It get on fore because of high voltage for it thats why he saying to check max voltage it can handle
Doesnt work. I did that with 9v and it got slower cuz it cant handle higher voltage
cai I directly add 9 volt battery to a car which has 50% extra load attached to it?

Cool bro
Bro thank u soo much it actually worked 😊😊😊😊
I tried to do the battery trick the batteries overheated and I sorta blew the motor lol

If I put a 3.7v lipo battery, it should run more faster?
What is the original voltage of your car?
@@shortcutelectronics its a 4.5v. The internal chipset can take 6v. I see that in the data sheet.

But if u want the XL-5 version, it this the cheaper one. It just says "Bandit".

What wire are u using
I had the same question but he dint answer me either
It’s just an aluminum/copper wire it doesn’t matter
Does it matter what kind of wire I use?

For low power car that's not too important. Use isolated wires that you are comfortable working with and standard electric tape.
