    Thanks for the part number. I've had enough of the servo dying & I almost never unlock the diffs anyway !

    Thanks for the video....I just recently retired in January and decided to get started in RC crawlers. The Defender will be my first purchase in May, and I was already thinking about doing this to mine when I get it....so videos like yours come in handy to newbies like me...again thanks for sharing

    Very nice initiative by Traxxas, but this was bound to happen. It's called keeping it simple. Thank you so much for for posting such a helpful video.

    Did the same to my defender, spend more time with the diffs locked for crawling anyway so I figured why not simplify the system. Give a guy a good chance to do a total maintenance on the axle at the same time as well.

    what is the advantage or disadvantage of having it locked? does it affect the s2nd gears performance at all

    • @2ManyHobbies16
      @2ManyHobbies16  4 года назад +1

      Advantage is I took all the servo out cause of problems. So less to go wrong and locked rear end is better for gripping and trying to get over things.

    But don’t locking diffs wear out your tires quicker?

    • @jqueenchannel
      @jqueenchannel 8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes but that when you drive on road like normal cars. For crawling, not to worry

  • @SaltyOldMan

    I'll buy it off of you if you've still got it.
