I feel that choosing a song from a coach puts some pressure on them to turn around. When they don't do it they feel bad, see for example reaction of Marc in voice DE when he didn't turn.

The got talent shows let all sorts acts get to the stage of all talent levels. Whereas the voice contestants are narrowed down to a higher level of talent before they ever get to the stage. There's less to criticize, much less be rude about.
I love when they sing a really good cover, because that always produces the sweetest reaction, but I hate the awkward tension when the coach doesn’t want them in their team and I’m sure their hearts shatter even more then.
The judgement to turn or not is not they sound great.. But rather if he or she could develop that talent.. That's why sometimes great singers never get a vote

that’s a lot of pressure on the judge your singing the song of, it’s a competition and they want the best of the best, or people they can help the most and i can’t imagine how guilty they mist feel if they don’t turn bc that kid is basically asking them to be their coach straight up
