Yeaaaa, I might have noticed it due to me being the one who created it. It might not even be noticeable at all, but I just wanted a fair warning to those may be overly sensitive to sound.

Allrite. Youre right about drifting more. Gotta do that to get my time under 2 minutes. This is so much more satisfying than buying shards....
Needs to be emphasized here
The top 5% and 15% ranges are NOT finalized. So right now top 5% cuts off at about 2100 but by Monday it could increase to 2500 and then 4k by next Friday as more and more players enter his event.
So if you guys want to stay within those ranges, I recommend aiming to stay top 2500 range to play it safe for top 5%.
Top 7500 for top 15%.
All going by the pattern of total participants that have joined since its launch yesterday, which is over 40k so far.
As the total number of participants grow daily so do the ranges that you need to get to unlock him.
I literally went through that on the Oswald event last week. got to top 10% on the last day only to get dropped on the final results.

From what I can gather, the time to beat right now is 1:58. That and the top 2000 players will be the Top 5%. So if you want Wall-E’s Victory animation, you have your goals set.
Thank you for the video. Was able to place at 1:56. Not sure if that will be enough, but at least that gives a bit of leeway for a few days hopefully.

I just shocked myself by getting a time of 1:53, currently ranked 120 so I'm starting to see I have great potential with this game. Going to try for top 100 , not bad for a free 2 play player that started last season.

So is it best to save his special for those shortcuts on the final stretch? My big problem is always running out of boost right before the 2 shortcuts on the final stretch. Currently have a 1:59:459, in the top 15%, and I feel I might have a shot at that 5% mark if I can somehow improve on those final shortcuts which always mess me up
What will help a lot if you manage your boost a bit is stacking the normal with the charged. (only do this if you get 2 wall-e abilities in a row, normal is always more consistent alone)
You should do a tier list of each tracks best music that would be a nice video ❤☺️

Hope this game gets support for a long time. It reminds me of the Crash team racing days, but I was so disappointed for the amount of support it had. Xbox and PS really need a kart racing game that can hold itself in time.
Helpful but I'm still stuck at 2:01 and can't seem to beat it. I'll keep trying....subbed also because it was very helpful.
One tip I can give is to stack the normal ability with the charged if you can get them back to back. It'll help you tremendously if you can manage them both.

Very frustrating to have a character/run so dependent on the items. It feels like you could have a killer run, but if you don’t get a boost item in a critical spot you’re probably cooked.
(Mainly the item box right after the fire jump) you can even see Lofton struggles without an item to assist
Tbh, I struggled the whole race. Talking/explaining and recording a time trial run is some work. LMAO 🤣

Usually, they have another event for players to pick them up. (it's usually right after)
However, some of the missions asked to do want you to have certain characters you may not have,
I have copied your exact route with 0 failed boosts and can't beat 2:00 I swear PC goes faster. Doesnt make sense that you have 10 seconds better time and I copy exactly what you do
I have two more videos coming out today to help a little more. Could also explain why I am faster. (the second video could)

As someone who barely beat your time, I feel as if you achieved a similar time but with a level of smoothness that I've yet to achieve. Specifically, I am constantly drifting at every possible moment, whereas you don't. Is passing on the drift potentially advantageous? It seems like it may be from what I'm seeing here, sometimes I feel like I'm still learning the meta so I'm curious. Thanks!
Turning to drift when you don't need to will slow you down. So yes, sometimes it's better to go straight than to force a drift.
Also, keep in mind, this is a simplified version. I keep it bare bones so players can mold their own.
I do hope your time is enough to stay 5%. Its a pretty tight % now. Ik at 1.56.16 myself.
I got it lower, these are simplified guides, not my full on tries. I try to give everyone ideas and ways to get good times without tons of crazy effort.

It's funny, as I released it I was like, I never said which to use!
In my opinion the normal version is better and more lenient with its use. Charging requires timing to really make it work.

I think some people said Wall-E’s Charged is great at higher levels, but at lower levels (and during this event) it doesn’t do much to help.
So for this event, uncharged is the way to go.
I know this is unrelated but this game has a lot of bugs. Today I Was playing Sulley On Rank because of 3 shards was enough for me to unlock him. I have 7 already from some where. The point is though i jump on a rail and i started wenting backwards. I could maybe got second or third if it didnt happen.

I'm shy 2 seconds rn gonna try to hit the jump over fire bridge and be choosy with wether I go through the grass and see if I can match you BTW 1:59.3 is not enough for top 5 percent.....for now..... Average players come play please even if it's just for this one race lmao
Yea, the more and more players pile on the harder it becomes to secure times. Not to mention other players who may have smurf accounts filling up a couple of spots.
@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 I disagree my brother plays often I would consider an average player can not secure 2 mins let alone under so more average players boost me up to 5 percent also on the math end 5 percent of 20k is 1k people will hit it 5 percent of 100k and now 5k of people get it so please everyone play I want top 5 and I don't see hit 1:57 maybe 1:58 and I'd bet alot of people will struggle to hit 2 mins

Yes, getting the top 5 is definitely more difficult. Only 5 % of 100 will get there.

1:58.1 has me in top 5 percent video gives you all the info after that its getting as close to perfect as you can....coulda had a better star for example on my 1:58.1....record is 1:50.007
