Correction: At 3:04 regarding boost generation on the rail. A better way to say it would be this: The amount of boost generated on each specific rail is fixed regardless of boost stat or speed. High top speed characters traverse the rail faster so they gain more boost per second. High boost stat characters' boost bar depletes slower, in general. They don't "generate" more boost on the rail.

You are missing one rail tech: slingshotting. When you jump on a rail, you briefly get a burst of speed as your cart "snaps" to the rail. This can allow you to reach speed beyond your maximum boosting top speed. So, if you don't need to fill your boost, a good strategy is to jump on the rail, access the increased top speed from the snap, and quickly jump off the rail to conserve this higher than normal top speed. With repeated jumps, you can prolong this higher speed for some time. The extra speed can be quite significant. My Anna reaches 245 MPH while boosting, but she can reach speed of over 320 MPH with this trick.

I’ve heard some people say that the difference between two character’s combat stats denotes how long a character will get stunned for, and others have said that it only depends on the stat of the character doing the stunning. And exactly what constitutes a “stun” was also ambiguous.
just a small question: there was a patch according to the jump mechanics related topseed. does the thing you mentioned about keeping top speed while jumping still work or not? thx in advance

Side note: At the time of this post, side swipes are kinda bugged and can send you backswards, so avoid using the last tip in the video for now!

as far as i know your first statement is true, the difference between the two characters' combat stat determines the stun duration

Hello! Yes it still works, the only difference being that you can't chain many jumps. 1-3 jumps is still viable
