I always enjoy wonderful art or a cinematic when Byf is involved. Engaging, dramatic, animation or art like this really does his narration justice, while really bringing the deep lore of the Destiny universe to life.

nezarec mentions that the witness barely had any pieces to recover. assuming there was at least a left toe left when the life laser from the traveler hit the pyramid, if any of the uncontrolled vines are anything to go by, the light hitting him just grew him a new body which is why he looks like a sinewy amalgamation of flesh.
His head was the only part of him left. It was recovered by Eramis and given to The Witness. The blast from the Traveler gave Nezarec a new body, but not as powerful as his original.
The only remaining part of Nezarec's body was his head. The Witness incubated a new body for him, a tormentor body and the Traveler shooting the Witness' ship accidentally revived him. When we charge the tree's roots twice in the raid, we speed up his incubation process.

May I suggest something? It always bothered me that the traveler graphic here has 2 overlapping circle line on its hull. The actual traveler has 3 and they do not overlap. The 3 circle's are spread from a point, top right. You can check awakened shell, top right of the ghost eye there is 3 big circle lines. This is accurate to the actual traveler too.

If Nezarec's body was sipped by Osiris and his mind is / was trapped inside the Vex Net how did the Traveler revive him by shooting the Witness' ship?
