I have seen three of you videos and my closing thoughts is that you channel is very much a good lore channel the animation, the voice quality, the music is all perfect, keep it up, I am pretty sure that you have a good future on this.
Very nice work. I was super deep into destiny 1 and 2 lore but lost touch after my son was born. Now that he is older, I'm ready to start playing again, but I missed so much in the last year or so that it was daunting and confusing to start playing again. Thanks for helping me get back into it with a little confidence!

Overall this an excellent summary, but there were a few things I would like to point out. Between lorebooks of Unveiling and Inquisition of the Damned, the BL Collector's Edittion lore/Clovis Bray's Logbook, and the Dreams of Alpha Lupi, the Traveler is the Gardener/most likely the Gardener. It/she has long chosen to stay and fight with humanity, as shown in Dreams of Alpha Lupi and the Traveler's Wager with the Winnower; as she has protected humanity, and the Last City in particular, multiple times. Also, the Witness is most likely to be the Winnower as well. On the topic of the Eliksni also, as we know from Dreams of Alpha Lupi: Riis, the Traveler did not leave the Eliksni out or shock or anything, but in an attempt to lure the Black Fleet away from Riis. Which, of course, was only partly successful. But again, this was a great summation overall.
I’m a firm believer Gardener is the Traveler, but cannot shame the fact the traveler did run away. The witness calls out the Traveler “pale heart” meaning cowardice. Overall great read, and thank you! + cannot wait to see everyone’s face when the Winnower is The Witness. IT HAS TO BE.
@@Azlaar Thank you. I do just want to say in that case with the Eliksni, it was an act of protection and not of cowardice; as we know the Traveler's PoV. Which very well may be the case for the over civilizations she's left. And even the case of the Ammonite, she has seem to have tried to arm those she's uplifted. In the Witness' eyes the Traveler may very well be a coward, but that doesn't mean the Traveler truly is one. The Witness also believes life by and large is needless suffering if it is life that doesn't need to exist in its eyes, which it views as the Traveler making. Whilst to many more such as ourselves, the Traveler is benevolent to a fault. Merely just that some things are perhaps a matter of perspective.

it was very obvious who the [Light] within Destiny is allegorically described there, and which one the *[Enemy] [ITSELF]* is described. (01:24). even if such pre-Causal Time historical (allegorical) retellings were done mostly upfront by said- *[Enemy]* . that narrator.
Quality is good, although there were some inaccuracies: first of all, Oryx, Xivu and Sava didnt chase the Traveller, the Witness did, Oryx led his siblings into a conquest throughout the universe where they sometimes encountered The Traveller, but capturing it wasnt their main goal, pursuit of The Final Shape was, or at least of their understanding of Final Shape which has proven to be incorrect. We have no proof that Oryx invaded Riis and caused the Whirlwind, although it was believed that Oryx was the one to cause the Whirlwind, we now know that The Witness and its black fleet were the one to destroy their homeworld. In TTK Oryx didnt arrive to take vengeance for murdering his son. In Season of the Lost we find out that in reality The Witness was the one to send Oryx to Sol after we defeated Crota. Rise of Iron? I know that community has been joking for years that Rise of Iron is not canon but cmon, ignoring the entire expansion is weird at very least. The Black Fleet makes their way to Sol SLOWLY? When the Light reached them they were far outside of Milky way, and getting to Sol in 2.5 years puts their average speed at roughly 1 light year of distance EVERY MINUTE. Forsaken where? We didnt discover the Tree of Silver Wings, humanity for a while knew it was there, what we discovered was its Seed, that allowed us to commune with The Witness. Stasis isnt a new power, in fact, Clovis knew about it even before the first Collapse and was researching it. The Worm didnt tell us anything about Witness' intentions, so where you got the part of them wanting to "destroy the Traveller" I dont know. What it did tell us is that Savathun deceived the Witness and had it sent back among the stars

This video is great. Beautiful artwork and nice, flowing transitions. But the completionist in me has to ask, were the events of Forsaken and its seasons not included because they were more localized events? The vid does have the "addressing the overall timeline" vibe, but it was a bit jarring to see the vid go from Warmind to Shadowkeep when plenty happened in between. Forsaken and its season content had events that could have enough relevance or important implications to warrant their place here.
This video was created to prepare people getting into Destiny by preparing/ refreshing them with content centered around Lightfall, the seasons and DLC mission that had no effect or significance to prepare you for Lightfall we're removed.

You shouldve included forsaken. As it is important that people know who cayde was. Your video doesn't explain who the vanguard are. Who zavala is and what he does, who Ikora is and who Cayde was.
The quality of the visuals is amazing, man! But as someone who learned English as a Second Language (ESL) the pronunciation and lack of subtitles was killing me! :( I was almost 70% through the video until I realized you were saying Sol not Seoul or Soul (that's what the auto generated subtitles thought too) lol I was so confused. Not to mention the amount of ridiculous names in Destiny lore is just impossible to keep track from listening alone! I know it's entitled to ask, but you should really invest into adding subtitles. It would only improve your nearly perfect video.
Hello, it’s intentional - purpose of the video is to prepare viewers for LightFall, nothing in Forsaken is relevant to the story in LightFall. Crow, Osiris and Cayde-6 are covered in Season of the Hunt.
I’m confused about some thing. If I was to start playing these games now, can I still play through these “seasons” or is that shit just like cut off to me? Season of this, season of the that… If I can’t experience all these things, it makes playing in 2024 kind of pointless to me.
i stopped playing after warmind. just started again this weekend....... have no idea wtf is going on. theyve changed the game so much. and idk if thats a good thing. pre shadowkeep was so fun. this just seems meh now
