friedchicken1981 do u know their a difference between mom and mother, u can call anybody mom(cause she not the one who give birth to u), i dont think i need to explain the word mother now. Just telling u b/c u write "mom" or u just didnt know
Yeah, one time I fainted when I was up on a hill due to dehydration, and when I regained consciousness, a man was pressing my philtrum ... I was so weirded out haha.
YAY FOR MY CHUBBY FINGERS LOL I also heard from my grandmother that having large ears that faced out instead of inward is considered someone with a lot of wisdom. She is a very traditional chinese grandmother.
Awesome vid. I was told that the depth of the philtrum shows how much you respect and how well you treat your family. The deeper it is, the more family oriented you are. Also, the more fingers (fingerprints) you have with swirl mean the more creative you are.
The hair whirl thing is a great correlation to creativity! It makes sense someone might call you stubborn the more creatively inclined you are…anyway it’s just for fun. :) My brothers both have one & I have lucky ears ^_^
I have three-finger spaced eyebrows. WHAT'RE YOU TRYING TO SAY?! 8C!! (seriously that was my inner dialogue and I laughed b/c it's in harmony with the saying)
I really like this , I am Arab and loads of people tell me not to read up on other traditions but i love to so i really love this channel ^_^ THANK YOU xoxo
the ones about my eyebrows and hands were true so i was like woaa cool, then he talked about that line and i have it on my right arm and i'm full dutch o.o but people always say i have asian eyes? MOM?
morton's toe in chinese says 二指長過公,唔洗一世窮, means that u won't be in poverty alive or not for long. haven't heard of the one u say tho. we can see by looking at the distance btw eyes and eyebrows. If it's far apart then your family bonding is close, whereas a narrow distance means early independent and weaker fam bonding. u can also check on ur palm lines, a line starts btw your thumb and index fing and then slit into 2. longer then 1 finger wide, means u move out from parents place late
@offthegreatwall i wonder if these Chinese Physiognomy theories of eyebrows have something to do with how they did their eyebrow makeup in Asia in the ancient days. (I have seen your video about it)
This is my grandma used to say: 一斗穷,二斗富,三斗四斗卖豆腐。 If your fingerprint are all closed circles, then means you have a 斗 (dou3), if you have one 斗 among all the ten fingers, you are poor, two=rich, three, or four, = selling Tofu (maybe means working hard) for living.
I have heard that if one has rough skin they are extremely competitive, and will even view simple everyday tasks as if there was a score board. If one has smooth skin they are sweet. When one's mouth and or eyebrows (not including the arch) is very, if not perfectly in a strait horizontal line they are logical. And of course, those with dimples are carefree, fun to be around, however they take on other's traits and problems easily.
Well... The Morton's Toe is surprisingly true... I got them on both feet and my mom and I aren't exactly close. She doesn't even know what kind of clothes I like to wear or why I chose acting as a career.
Lol I am mixed race Mexican Indian and Celtic European ancestry with almost too close set eyebrows with having Morton’s toe and being slightly close to my maternal mother.
My mom is Han Chinese, my sister and I are both half Han Chinese. My dad is from the "Strong" Chinese tribe. I have one prominent line below my right elbow and a less prominent one inflow left elbow. My mom's lines are the least prominent and sister and dad have the most prominent and number of lines.
one's cheek bone pointing horizontally = strength one's cheek bone pointing frontally = aggressive roman nose which has a thick and high nasal cartilage between eyes and long straight nose vertically = dedicated to career for lifetime, usually salary person crown nose or childish nose that with low or insignificant nasal cartilage between eyes means a more easy going job finder, usually found as a freelance or wage payee
My mom and every elderly Korean person always tells me that since I have small incisors, then that means my husband will love me deeply. I'm doubtful, but that does sound nice haha!
I also have the lines on my forearms about an inch from my inner elbow... I think Chinese friends once noticed and made something of it. But I am a mix of European and a bit Native American. Chinese friends said I looked half Chinese (but they hadn't really seen someone half Chinese before) -- they said it was my eyebrows. Thick and dark.
We natives descended from Asian people, that’s why we are mistaken for “Chinese” (they mean you look generally Asian, they’re just i-g-n-o-r-a-n-t.) Also, these types of traits can exist predominantly in a group but not every single person has it, traits do overlap with Indigenous folks. For instance, 90% of East Asian people have a gene that means you don’t create BO or wet ear wax, we share that trait and it’s the majority of Natives as well. But it doesn’t mean someone without BO is Chinese…it’s just a bad correlation. We’re all related in the human family anyway. :)
dan: I'm sure you've all heard of Mortons toe me: - LIfts up foot- Hooray I have that! ~*~ dan: In Chinese physiology, that means you're not very close to your mother me: ..... How did they know that?
I don't know if it's true or not in Chinese religion (I'm Vietnamese) but I heard that if your lips are bright color then you're kind and sweet but if your lips are dark color then you're mean and possible you'll be punished. And also, (for girls) if you have small feet then you're from a very high class family, the smaller your feet the higher class your family is.
this guy is such a cutie!! The Morton's toe thing isn't right, I have the longer second toe and I'm close to my mom. In European culture, the longer second toe was a sign of royalty :)
The toe thing was so accurate it blew my mind
You just go up to a person and put fingers on their eyebrows 😂
Hahahahahah!
My face says that I am asian, case closed
I believe u...!!!
more like eyes closed
Yes - please make this a series! I love physiognomy because it's fun. I have a mole on my ear and my parents say it means I'm lucky or something.

My mother has Mortans toe and she is not close to her mom MIND BLOWN

Yeah, one time I fainted when I was up on a hill due to dehydration, and when I regained consciousness, a man was pressing my philtrum ... I was so weirded out haha.
The bloopers made me laugh.
"Whaaaaat" Is this Chinese?"
lolol, Dan.
That toe thing really works! My mom has it and she haattteess her mother
Omg! My partner has that toe and is not close to his mother. Interesting
What the heck is a beak shaped mouth!? googling it only leads to pictures of birds
Lol.
I'm assuming its a permanent duck face?? Like that lip thing girls do when they take pictures??
that's possible ... though i never met anyone with duck face expressions by default
Like kind of pointed at the mouth area. A little bit of out and normal lips but pointed not like a point but I'm sure you know what I mean.
I kind of have an idea but ... don't all lips have a bit protruding out? maybe you could post a link to a picture here?
I love learning these information! Do more of these video guys!
YAY FOR MY CHUBBY FINGERS LOL I also heard from my grandmother that having large ears that faced out instead of inward is considered someone with a lot of wisdom. She is a very traditional chinese grandmother.
The thumbnail brought me so much joy, thank you kind stranger. Also really good video!

Awesome vid. I was told that the depth of the philtrum shows how much you respect and how well you treat your family. The deeper it is, the more family oriented you are. Also, the more fingers (fingerprints) you have with swirl mean the more creative you are.

That toe one is very true for me
This is really interesting!
So you're telling me I'm awesome. I am okay with this.
the ones about my eyebrows and hands were true so i was like woaa cool, then he talked about that line and i have it on my right arm and i'm full dutch o.o but people always say i have asian eyes? MOM?

what does it mean if you have a camel toe?
Lol
hahahaha probably means you are very fertile
Too fat.
😂😂😂
Your wearing your pants too tight?
OMG most of these are right!!!! wow this is awesome
THIS IS GREAT!!
I love how you can see the societal values that develops these theories: fat hands means lots of food, rich and not labour work. And so on
I have a line before elbow, but I'm Italian
@offthegreatwall
i wonder if these Chinese Physiognomy theories of eyebrows have something to do with how they did their eyebrow makeup in Asia in the ancient days.
(I have seen your video about it)
LOVE that part of green background 😂😂😂
i heard of that before too!
The Morton's toe one was surprisingly true.
Thin lip is really accurate experienced it.
That last bit was hilarious
I have a beauty spot/mole hidden in my eyebrow... we say: 禾草盖珍珠 - "Grass covers pearl", something precious hidden under something plain xD
Jenn Lam what about a mole on the left breast :)
The way you pronounce chinese is hilarious =D keep up the great work!
hahaha I love it!!! keep it coming
I have one
This is my grandma used to say: 一斗穷,二斗富,三斗四斗卖豆腐。 If your fingerprint are all closed circles, then means you have a 斗 (dou3), if you have one 斗 among all the ten fingers, you are poor, two=rich, three, or four, = selling Tofu (maybe means working hard) for living.

Dude can you please do more of this videos!!!!
Nice info :D am pretty normal then after this description :).
I had that Han Chinese "line" too, but I'm Hmong. Interesting!
The Hair Whirl is also believed in the Philippines and it is very very accurate
Please do more videos on this topic
I've never plucked or waxed my eyebrows before. they have always been two fingers apart and have changed none over the years.
Well... The Morton's Toe is surprisingly true... I got them on both feet and my mom and I aren't exactly close. She doesn't even know what kind of clothes I like to wear or why I chose acting as a career.
Oh shiiiit my hands are bony. (And I have mortons toe and I'm very close to my mom.)
Share some more of these infos of Physiognomy! Fun.
phis-ee-ON-o-mee - no 'hard' G...I liked listening to your Chinese!
Omg the Morton's toe is so true in my situation
In Roman statues you can see what ethnicity the statue has by looking at the feet, I have roman feet. My mom Celtic feet and my aunt has Greek. :)
Plz don’t tell me i was the only one who started looking for english captions when the video started djbxksls
For the elbow thing, only one of my elbows have it XD
Lol I am mixed race Mexican Indian and Celtic European ancestry with almost too close set eyebrows with having Morton’s toe and being slightly close to my maternal mother.
if you have a mole on your left hand it means you have good luck
really???? i have one
I have one on my right hand, does it mean bad luck?
Remy Ernstsen i wanna know too LOL
That's great then - I have three 😆
I have mole on my left hand😄
My mom is Han Chinese, my sister and I are both half Han Chinese. My dad is from the "Strong" Chinese tribe. I have one prominent line below my right elbow and a less prominent one inflow left elbow. My mom's lines are the least prominent and sister and dad have the most prominent and number of lines.
i like every video with this guy in :)))
Interesting & funny!
thank you
omf thats so cool. the line before the elbow thing. even paused the video to check tbh xD
That was good!
Another saying I've heard about Morton's Toe is that it means you are very smart. Regional differences?
Dude you sound like Jet Li when you speak Chinese, like when Jet Li's puts on that kick ass personal and says something in Chinese.
I also heard that a line across the earlobe means heart trouble and too much white seen around the eye means a tendency towards violence.
I have three head whirls. My parents were so worried about me when I was still a baby lol
I guess it's right, in terms of fighting in my exams
curly hair and you're crazy, i just noticed it. also i heard that in the dominican republic small ears mean long life
very correct, for example I'm han chinese and I do have a line below elbow
Last one got me lol 3 whorls = 打架不要命 😂
one's cheek bone pointing horizontally = strength
one's cheek bone pointing frontally = aggressive
roman nose which has a thick and high nasal cartilage between eyes and long straight nose vertically = dedicated to career for lifetime, usually salary person
crown nose or childish nose that with low or insignificant nasal cartilage between eyes means a more easy going job finder, usually found as a freelance or wage payee
So interesting! ^^
It said at the end: Remember, these are all just sayings. Witch is good for me xD because i have a mortons toe and i am close to my mom....
haha maybe these only apply to Chinese people
kewl broh what about countries like lao thai.... both kinda asian countries and also china is too isnt it???
We all looked at our left hand hoping to find one
I'm all positive ^^
Anyway both of you are so friendly.
Wow, the Han people have a line on their arm thing is actually so cool XD
My mom and every elderly Korean person always tells me that since I have small incisors, then that means my husband will love me deeply. I'm doubtful, but that does sound nice haha!
OMG! Someone I know has King Gou Jian's features! AHHH! Good thing i never wanted to associate with him in the first place.
I am dying. this is so funny. Chinese have the strangest theories, but at the same time, it makes perfect sense!!
I am a Han Chinese and I can now prove it :D I never knew I had that line there before.

The last bit was pretty entertaining. Haha, i was practicing that line myself too. :)
The thumbnail omfg 😂😂😂
You pronounced 旋兒 as one syllabus. If you can't do it, then you can split it up as 旋 (Xuan) and 兒 (Er). It is still correct
My family is Cambodian and when my niece was born with two hair whirls they were like "uh oh" haha.
dan: I'm sure you've all heard of Mortons toe
me: - LIfts up foot- Hooray I have that! ~*~
dan: In Chinese physiology, that means you're not very close to your mother
me: ..... How did they know that?

And also, (for girls) if you have small feet then you're from a very high class family, the smaller your feet the higher class your family is.
When the hair whirl came up, and Dan was speaking the chinese, I just heard shua sha sha sha ming...And I'm chinese!
this guy is such a cutie!! The Morton's toe thing isn't right, I have the longer second toe and I'm close to my mom. In European culture, the longer second toe was a sign of royalty :)
Ya
1:47 Because people make fun of your unibrow. That's why they're so emotional. Easy.
